Due to the islands being located in the mysterious ocean, the way that Qi has effected the inhabitants is different than other places. People living on the islands are often mutated and transformed into looking and behaving a lot like aquatic life. These people are amphibious and are the elders in the clan have learned magicks unique for the oceanic area. Requiring rituals to perform these ancient magicks. Most people that live on the islands don’t remember life before the war they just woke one day and realized this was their life and they couldn’t remember anything prior. Due to being located in the oceans they were usually left alone by the outside world, however due to a few scouts and other such investigations they have learned how cruel those on the mainland can be and prefer to stay hidden from them, with a few exceptions of course. But for now they live their life in silence hidden away from the world.
