History Information

History: Cynic isn't sure when, how, or even why he was left where he was. Abandoned in some dead and barren waste of a territory that came to be known as "Dirt". Surviving mostly on the scraps the other sick and starving members of the society left behind, or died looting. Cynic has had to even kill to survive himself. It didn't take long before he had gotten decent with a knife. Staying awake for days to wait for his target to sleep, get sloppy, or leave. Going off the policy of might makes right, and taking what you want.

It wasn't until Elias Wyatt claimed himself King of the Dirt pile that things started to... Change. Cynic watched groups of people begin to trust slowly. Talk, negotiate, work together. The Knights helped in forcing the issue, and the taxes made it obvious that there was a difference between people working and people collecting. Cynic wanted to collect, not work. Then the raiders attacked and Cynic was attacked. Almost cut down Cynics Qi unlocked and a poison cloud erupted from him killing the raiders and making a lot of people sick. Including himself.

Days went by and Cynic was sure his end was near, accepting his fate he closed his eyes, but that's when everything felt fine! Sitting up he saw a woman fleeing his tent! Following after he spotted them.. Elias Wyatt and Rose Princeton. Cynic was too weak from being sick to follow right away, but soon... He would find them and he would have Elias Dream come true, he wanted to see it. With this new life he has been granted. Might makes right, you take what you want. They wanted him to live, the own his life. So Cynic will use every last bit of it for them.

Qi Name: Poison Physiology Manipulation

Strengths: Cynics actual body is poisonous. Skin, sweat, blood, bone, saliva, breath. It's all poisonous in some ways and Cynic can manipulate his body to attack or defend much like a venomous creature would.

Weaknesses: Cynics body is poisonous, and he is not immune to his own poisons. He has some resistance so the stuff that kills someone else won't kill him, but he does take damage, get sick, become weaker if he breaths in his own gas, stings himself, or any other issue that make back fire.

Zero Ability: Poisonous Breath Blast - Cynic takes in a deep inhale before directionally blowing a wave of poisonous gas in a cone in front of him that does 50% his energy plus his attack in damage for 2 posts, and lowers the targets Def/Per by 1/4th Cynic's energy stat for 2 posts.

John's Zero Ability - Flame Thrower: John can fire a vortex of flames from his hands adding half his energy stat to his energy stat..

Poison Slash: Cynic condenses the poison energy within his body and coat it around something he is holding or himself. When attacking the poison energy seeps off him like a whip doing Cynic's energy in damage, and half the total in poison damage for three following posts leaving a poison energy mark.

Gas Expansion: Cynic can exude poison energy from his body to expand any Gas he has released or poison energy by 20 ft, adding his full energy in damage to the Gas or poison energy effect.

Explosive Poison: Cynic can cause any gas or poison energy mark he touches to explode, causing his full energy in damage, and 3/4ths his energy in damage the following post.

Head: Elias' Hand-me-down Gas Mask: +10 ENG

This used mask only shows it's true strength when it reacts to Gaia's royal family, increasing Cynic's power accordingly. For each Dirt PC in the thread with Cynic, he gains a 25% boost to his total ENG.

The Mando Armor is ancient, in some cases hundreds of years old. Some ancient clan of people fused crystals together and formed metal around it for some of the most durable armor ever made. It's technique of creation lost to history, but in this time of Qi and hand-to-hand combat it's usefulness has become far more prevalent.
