He is not stopped, and out the back of the library he finds the base of the large mountain with the trail that leads up unguarded. However more bazaar like shops and people walking around, there seems to be a living area around here where normal citizens live. The area is clean, well kept. The people are happy and working hard.

What an unwelcome change from what he's used to.
He had his work cut out for him when he took this place over as well.
Elias starts heading up that trail at an unhurried pace, not looking to wind himself before he makes it up there.

It wouldn't be long really, an hour and a half maybe before he reached the top. An unnatural plateau at the top, though it housed another city. This one though was full of people in flashy armor, and buildings made of such pure stone it was a marvel to behold. He seemed to have come across a gathering of soldiers getting ready for some training exercise. Elias would be approached by a man in flashy armor holding a bow. "What is your business here? Do you seek knowledge, wisdom? Secrets of agriculture, or just a Gods blessings?" |

Elias squints at the man with the bow, not sure how he feels about how flashy he is.

"Very well." The man would lead Elias to a large Egyptian style tent set up kind of like a gypsy. Outside of it a man would be standing talking to a very large jackal. He was patting it on the neck before he spotted the two new arrivals. "Hello." He says calmly waiting for the reason for their arrival. "Lord Anubis, this is a challenger who climbed the mountain seeking you." Anubis looks at Elias and smiles. "Wow, my first challenger, I wasn't expecting an outsider though. Either way, nice to meet you." Anubis holds out a hand to shake. |

Elias just stares at him for a few seconds, hand not lifting up from his side.
“You haven’t had challengers before...? I hope that doesn’t mean you’re weak.”
He tilts his head. He’s not trash talking, but is genuinely concerned in case he picked the wrong God to fight.

"No I wouldn't say weak, just untested in this way. I haven't been Anubis long, took over for my dad a few years ago. People don't generally challenge to be a Death God either."
He would look to the guy with the bow.
"Well get our friend ready, I need to grab my gear. See you soon."
Elias would be escorted to a nice tent with fine blankets, rugs, a bed, and jewels and gold everywhere. As well as a large feast. Not long after they would get to an arena, where a nearly seven foot tall jackal headed beast standing on double jointed hind legs.

Soon after, he steps out into the arena, putting his hands on his hips as he stares at the beast.
