Well.... this was creepy. But still, Elias watches every single moment they’re heading downwards.

“What is a God Right? And why are the death gods different?”

[Zack Asiv]

Anubis nodded at the question, reasonable.

"Well you have your usual powers, but a God Right is the power of a God bestowed on us through a special ritual. Death Gods however, have a special God Right that connects us to the energy flow of souls. Gaining control of specific domains where a persons left over power goes. We are strengthened by the souls in our domains."

"So my domain is... those who worship the Egyptian Gods?"

He frowns thoughtfully.

"I want my Right."

Anubis nods as they continue though they finally arrive at a cave like area with red glowing stones as lighting and a huge bonfire fireplace. Inside would be a large man standing at a little over seven feet tall, waiting in the cave sitting on a throne made of what appeared to be darkness. Not shadow, not an ooze or smoke, literally just a void of nothing.

"Thanatos... This is the challenger who has claimed the title of Osiris... He wishes to attain his God Right."

Thanatos large pale blue eyes shift to Elias with his bored expression before standing from his chair and approaching.

"The Duty of a commander of Death... Are you willing to fulfill the role of protector and caretaker of everyone who worships or prays to you? To answer the call of The Gods for counsel and government?"

Well, that was... new. Elias wants a throne like that. The first question, however, was something he would agree with.

Kind of.

"Does that include after they die?"

[Zack Asiv]

Thanatos nods.

"You will wield the power of a domain of death. It is a void, empty and powerless at this time. However, as worshipers die, or you claim souls on the field of battle. It will fill with souls to be tended how you see fit. Slowly over time this land of souls will feed you energy and power."

Anubis nodded along, and folded his arms taking a back seat since Thanatos was so much his senior.

Oh. Well that sounded perfect, then.

"I accept those terms, then. Including any calls for counsel or government."

[Zack Asiv]

Thanatos turns and walks back to the throne and reaches into it, pulling out a cup and what seems to be an animal skin with liquid. He walks over to Anubis and hands them to him before going to another room and coming back with a gold hollow pole. Maybe a foot long.

"Any words you want to add before we proceed?"

Elias watches with naked interest, as this sort of ritual seemed important. To do it wrong might mess with whatever he’s receiving.

“I do, actually. I might be coming for your throne eventually. I haven’t decided yet.”

It’s not a threat or a warning, he’s just speaking his mind.

[Zack Asiv]

Thanatos would nod, and Anubis would pour the animal skin into the cup and hand it to Elias, showing him where to hold it low before Thanatos lifted the pole.

"Prepare to drink."

Thanatos stabs the pole into his own chest, piercing his armor and his chest, pulsing warm blood funnels out of the end of the pole into t he cup, as it splashes with the liquid in the cup it begins to glow. Ripping the pole out, blood stains Elias's clothes which change to a dark yet shiny armor.

"Drink of Ambition and rise as Osiris."

Elias does as he's instructed, though the fact that Thanatos is literally offering his blood makes Elias smile broadly.

This was new and interesting, he loves this experience.

He ignores the splashing for the moment, bringing the cup up to his lips and taking a deep drink, swallowing the entirety of its contents. Once he lowers the cup, the armor seals around his head, completing the set.

Activating the Armor of The Eternal King covers Elias in his God like armor costing 1 Qi use to apply. With a Judge's power Elias can find a soul unworthy by striking them, marking them as unworthy. This will cause the person marked to lose -5 Qi uses. If an unworthy soul runs out of Qi uses this way, they take damage equal to their max Qi uses x5.
