Not that living there was much different, but at least before they had a bigger group. And parents to guide them. It just wasn't worth it to try and hide what you have away from your own "king".

"We're not going back!" the girl in the caravan yells, become perhaps a bit hysterical.
One of the boys tries to shush her, even as most of the teenagers grab at their daggers.
"We can't give these back." one says seriously.
"Weren't you listening?!" the hysterical girl yells. "He doesn't just want the stuff we stole!"
"Then DO something, Serah! You're the only one who can!"
She frowns and hides back in the caravan, much to their dismay.

They all look at each other worriedly, weighing their options. If they just gave the stuff, they'd die. If they didn't go back they'd die. If...they could somehow stop him they could escape...but to where?
"I don't want to go back..." one of them whispers, and they all agree but they aren't sure of the cost.
Suddenly, however, there'd be a sudden blur and Elias would feel someone hit his arm in an attempt to disarm him.

He pushes himself back up, sprinting for the caravan where the girl had hidden away!

Some of the young bandits start running towards the caravan to stop him, but he’s a lot faster than they are. Still teamwork seems to be their specialty, and a few of them sacrifice their weapons to throw them in his path and hopefully slowing him or hitting them with thei daggers!
