She looks down at Lann briefly and nods at Cael's comment.

"Indeed. However we do not have anything to inject the child with. I wonder if it is possible to wake the child up without it..."

"I don't know..." Cael admitted.

"I....I'm not... sure..."

Lann admits, still puffing away.

"The commands were: Green to sleep, blue to wake, black to terminate." She'd say out loud so the other two could hear, scratching the back of her head.

"I believe we've said the last word several times and we've not been terminated. Perhaps that last part referred to the drug rather than a command? In that case, if the child is a weapon, it may be risky to give it said drug in the first place. So then...is it ever awake and lucid at all? Or is dormant its docile state?"

Kinda messed up either way, in the most fascinating sense.

Also she very much is just speaking out loud. If the other two have any sort of insight, she's happy to hear it but it's not exactly expected.

John would dig through his pouch for a few seconds before pulling out two cylindrical auto injectors. Inside was a blue colored liquid and a green colored liquid.

"I don't have many of these left..."

John would look at the kid in the room how it was just froze there holding out an arm with it's eyes open but glazed over, staring at nothing.

"Never seen anything like this before, so I can't say for sure, but I have the wake and sleep drugs, if you want to give it a try. It's going to cost ya however."

Lann goes to pull out his wallet.

"What cost?"

Cael was suspicious.

[Kaia Galanos]

"I see. They were all drugs."

The word got a reaction, but that wasn't the entirety of it. She learned about coloured drugs today. Very fulfilling.

She goes to casually reach for the injectors, even though John's trying to "sell" them. If he's not paying attention she's just going to take them.

John would pull the injectors away from Faye's grasp and wave his free hand at Lann to keep him from putting his wallet on the table. He'd then look to the big man who asked. Intimidating sonova bitch as he was asked the right question.

"I need information on two people. Jyo Mashima or Kazuma Kazahana. I'll give you the drugs now, but I need your word. That you will find information on where they are or what happened to them."

[Caelan Xander]

"Who are they and why do you need the information?"

He really distrusted John...

"I-I'm s-sure it's for a g-g-good reason..."

Lann of course trusts John.

Faye gives a subtle frown as they are pulled away.

As much as she was okay with giving her word for something like that, she didn't want to disrespect Cael and his careful approach to this.

John reaches into his bag again with his free hand pulling out a white unmarked can. It was closed and John wouldn't even look at it.

"Before the war Jyo Mashima was the only man I knew who had kicked this heavily addictive drink. He was a mortal enemy of Kazuma Kazahana. Kazuma was the man who made the drink. I need information from both men to see if there is a way to fix me."

Cael looks at John long and hard trying to weigh his words before sighing and nodding, looking down to both Lann and Faye to see what they thought.

"Y-y-you're addicted?"

Lann sympathizes.
