John would hand over the two syringes AND the can before looking at Lann.
"Not anymore. I kicked it. I've tried to before and the last time I tried I almost died. I obviously survived this time, but..."
John would look at the company before walking over to Lann to get closer. So he could talk to Lann a bit more privately.
"It's taken a heavy toll on me, buddy. I can feel it. My fire... My fire is going out and my body is growing weaker."

Faye has no idea what he means so she ignores Lann's look. She already said she was on board with finding what he needed so she just takes ALL THE THINGS and casually starts making her way to the child.
"Hm. Blue to wake."
She's by no means a real doctor, but, how hard can giving an injection be? She's read books.
So she gives the child the blue stuff.

The injector would drain the entire blue drug and his eyes would show motion as he finally blinked a few times. He couldn't find the strength to sit up, but he could move his head around. "This one is Prototype H.M. zero-one-four. What is the objective today doctor?" John turns his head and looks at the kid who spoke rather weakly. That didn't sound like Barker experiments to him. |

Cael says nothing. This was so far beyond anything he knew that he just had the chill of discomfort about the way the Kid acted. He looked human, but he didn't act human...

"The project still remains inconclusive to my knowledge. Tests were carried out with H.M.'s replacing generator motors for siege weapons, and power generators for prototype energy weapons as ordered by Prota Command."
The kid stayed staring straight as he spoke and John rubbed his chin a bit.
"Prota was using mobile armor during the war in certain skirmishes that their soldiers could hook up to and use odd energy weapons. They also had canons on them like tanks that fired raw energy. I only ever encountered one in combat though. Maybe the people in charge of that project were taken out or they considered it a failure."
John would shrug.

Ah. Prota. You and your human experiments.
"Well. We did find this child and the remains of soldiers and tanks below the ground." she would respond to John, poking around at the child to make sure it all felt...organic. How did he stay in this state for that long, then? The war was some time ago.
"Hm. What is the date and year of your deployment?"
