Rai scratched his chin.
"Well... if I had to take a guess. I'd say that they some how knew that at least I would be here, and figured that even I brought anyone they wouldn't be strong enough to fight off the dealer. So the plan was probably to take me, or you, out with that first explosion and then team up in killing me off. Which..."
He would look over at the demolished building that he had flown through after the explosion.
"If it wasn't for the two of you, their plan might very well have succeeded."

"But that means they are hiding something, truthfully if this was just any drug maybe we could have been good potential business partners... but this was straight up a bold face attack and none spared if they thought that some information was about to let loose to us. Our territory is being dug unto and if it comes down to it... Raikotsu they may be gathering strength and an artificially enhanced force to take what is yours... Ours. If that fool was too fast for you what if the next is too strong for you? The Blood Territory could be slipping in through the cracks of their drug empire." She wouldn't state the obvious but they had to act quickly and she was rearing and ready to go.
She looked at Jericho and she couldn't help but crack a grin. Her anger began to defuse in that moment as her focus broke

Ignoring Jericho Rai would nod at Dime's observation.
"This is indeed disturbing news. Way I see it there is no good way this will all pan out..."
Rai was very concerned. This was something that they needed to solve, and fast.
"We need to get to the bottom of this... but first I need to head back to the mansion, I have a meeting with Asiv, the leader of Cabal. It is important and shouldn't be delayed. As soon as I can I will return so that we may get to the bottom of this plot."

"We'll be ready when you get back then." she nodded. And her expression changed in another moment from concern to a much darker anger. "They mistook me for your personal whore and I want to pop skulls between my thighs for crap like that" she mimicked squeezing someone's head with her hands until her palms clapped together with a loud enough force to pop. Her mental simulation with sound effects.

Jericho was silent, agreeing with all that was said but still rather perplexed by Rai not fulfilling his end of the bargain.
Then Dime mentioned the popping of skulls.
"I would also like to crush their skulls in," he added plainly, looking Rai in the eyes. "Not with my thighs, though. Probably with a pipe. Or bat. Or club. Or a brick. Or my fists."
How many things could he use? How many things had he used already??

Rai would look between the two and start chuckling.
"You two are great. I can't wait to see what all adventures we go on together."
He would smile and walk between them placing a hand on each of their shoulders.
"Just promise me one thing. No matter what happens, you two have to stay alive and work together. And if you should have to, promise you'll do what I could not and bring this place back to its former glory."

Dime was silent while she collected her thoughts on his request. She cant immediately make that promise. Her and her people have taught her that he would be the one to rebuild their home. He is the blood dragon and dragons themselves are one of the most influential figures of the world they live in. It brought security and hope to their belief. They understood that through blood the bonds made are the strongest hence why they fed into Raikotsu's mansion and prayed for the day he'd come back.
She started to think of the stronger forces of the world and how weak those who lived with her still are. How vulnerable their foundations still are. How this threat tends to bring a sense of foreboding air on the horizon.
"I can not make a promise I don't fully have the confidence to keep, bringing it to its former glory? That's a big shoe to fill... I can promise that I will do all I can, I just about gave my life to save you, don't think that I wont try the same for my home. For any sliver of hope that means the blood will one day dry and fade away, I can promise that I will take it."

Rai smiled.
"I believe in the both of you. That's why I was willing to risk my life to save you two. I see the potential you two have and it is inspiring. Never forget that."
With that Rai would drop his hands back to his sides. Then to Jericho.
"Jericho, call some of your police force here and search the area for any clues that could help us find out who's behind all of this, and where we might locate them."
"To Dime meanwhile I'm going to set you up with my informants so that they can report to you while I'm away. Use any and all the information they give you wisely."
He would walk forward a bit before turning to face them both.
"Also, always remember that you're greatest strength is each other. Work together and nothing will stand in your way."
With that Rai would begin to hobble back to his mansion.

"Yes sir," Jericho answered in response to the king's order.
He pondered what his king said, and he thought of Dime heavily. She was truly his only friend in this world and they were better when working together.
The chief of police turned to his comrade. "He is correct. We are much stronger together." He outstretched his hand and arm to her as he added, "Le'aged: to unite."

She was a bit confused at his gesture. Not why he did it or what it meant but that he was being as compassionate as this. The thought of him offering this kind of comfort in anyway might be a statement to the emotions that are peeking through. His sense of pride and determination beamed forth. Her confused expression quickly turned into a warm and heartfelt one for the thought and meaning were all she thought would truly matter.
She put forth her arm and gripped his in a similar fashion. She would nod in agreement but not say anything more as they made their way back to base.

Dime and Jericho- Blood inheritance: While in 235 Dime and Jericho both are protected by the blood that Rai left behind. Currently it will defend them from one major attack per thread. (Note: only if they are in 235)
