The Attack on Aurora (Aurora Members)

"If I must to protect this land and it's people. It is the charge that has been laid upon me."

He'd say as he ascended the wall.

"Do you believe that to be the wrong course of action?"

[Zack Asiv]

"No... The Crystals will need attention from a professional of raw energy manipulation or you risk corrupting them."

[Blake Oleander]

"Do we have an expert within Aurora?"

[Zack Asiv]

"No. Few exist at all."

[Blake Oleander]

"Where can I find one?"

[Zack Asiv]

"The Gods have two, Ayatlan has a few. And one is in the Deadlands."

[Blake Oleander]

"Thank you, Virgil. For everything."

Blake placed his hands on the Crystal and looked over where the army would be stationed. Bailey should be near finished with the evacuation. Which meant if this went poorly for some reason his people and his children would remain safe. Katsu and his unit should be in a position as well to hit their weak spot waiting for his signal Well, they wouldn't be able to miss it.

"Kin, if I lose control then you know what to do."

Kill him.

Blake took a deep breath and reached inward for his monster. Reaching for it to embrace it and channel it's intelligence and malevolence into him as his chest began to burn. Though the sensation would be different than his normal chest cannon.

We are not to harm any who call this land home. Only the invaders, but them we can turn to ash.

Blake would fire out a beam of energy from his chest unlike any other. A beam with intelligence and will. The will and sentience of the monster within.

Within the lands Blake has claimed dominion as King. Lands known as Aurora, Blake can use the power of the Kings Emblem. The Kings Emblem can make Blake as powerful as he needs to be by adding his energy stat with any other stat for up to four posts. (Attack)

Special: Intelligent Beam - Blake fires a powerful beam attack from his chest the seeks out his target and adds 150% of his energy to the attack. May be combined with Bailey's special attack. May only be used once per thread.

Fester: Blake can add dark energy to any Qi attack to cause the wound to fester for 3 rounds for half of the attack value.

Black Friday Rememberence Wrap (ADD ON): +5 Def

Once per thread you can call on an approved ability from anyone your character has ever encountered, except a QC Bracelet of The Moon Drifter (+2 Attack, +2 Energy) - Up to two times be thread, Bailey can increase the output of a single Qi effect to an additional 100% of original effect. If an effect gives her +5 attack, for instance, it would increase that by an additional +5 (used on Intelligent Beam)

Kin would nod at his Kings demand and would unsheath his blood thirsty blade.

Positioned as they are, Katsu and his small squad take note of the sudden massive blast heading from the kingdom.

That is... they're very surprised to see it.

However, it's more than enough to send them sprinting into the enemy's back ranks, Katsu himself aiming to cut into any who look like they have ranged weapons first!

The pulsing light and massive beam were...difficult to miss. Allison saluted the location the beam started from with a bow before turning to leave. Every inch of her screamed not to walk away; she never just walked away from a fight. But she had been given her orders, and she would carry them out.

Starting with the trek to Cabal, and Asiv's office.

Yanmei fires a Qi orb at the first person to notice them!

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey looks over at the flash of light from the wall and the world outside it, shaking her head as she returned her attention to helping the evacuees that were on their way to a safer location!

"Take care, Blake," she murmured. Of all people, she knew he could handle himself best, but they both knew the potential "what if" that came with his power.

[Zack Asiv]

Blake's body was not built to house or produce such mass quantities of power, and it would be obvious to those close to him this was beyond limits of even the seemingly godly durability of Qi users to withstand. The beam fired from Blake's chest would zoom out at such a wicked speed a concussion of air would follow in it's wake as it pushed the air away from it's point multiple feet at a time, as if ripping through the space it would take up, before contorting, twisting and turning as if lost and unsure of where to go. Before long the beam would shoot straight up curl to fire right back at the ground in the midst of the enemy forces. Soon enough bulging arms would rip from the beams mass and take on the shape of Blake's fully realized monster form. Flying through the enemy forces with wild swiping motions, vaporizing all it touched.

Blake however would feel the burn, the full brunt or extent of the damage he would begin to feel would be unknown to him as the energy surged from his chest. He would begin to feel drained, tired. Soon enough he would feel the arm not on the wall reaching for a blade!

Katsu's advance is almost entirely unnoticed due to the beam ripping through the army, however one soldier turns to see him before he is close enough and is about to raise some form of warning before he is hit by a Qi orb, giving Katsu time to swing into an enemy archer with their back turned!

Blake was used to pain, it had been a tool of instruction through his formative years. It was the price he paid every time he shed his blood to protect his homeland before his transformation into an abomination. It has graced every second of his existence since his twisting, and it was the constant reminder given to him by the soul of the land for his power. He had been cursed with great power, and the greater the power he grasps the greater the pain as his body twists in on itself to give shape to the darkness infecting his heart.

Blake was used to pain, it was a comfort that he was still alive, and it was something in the world that still made sense to him. He welcomed the pain if it spared those he was sworn to from feeling it. And he embraced it as he channeled his malice outward to smite those that would defile and steal his home from not just himself. But from all of those that he cared about and who tolerated his existence.

The hand not on the wall went to the blade at his hip as his jaw clenched, his chest and soul rippling from the power that he was expelling. The hand on the wall gripping tightly to keep himself standing as he pushed everything that he was into making sure this display would be seared into the collective memory of mankind, remembered long after he was turned to dust.

Aurora will never bend the knee to self styled conquerors.

Kin would notice as Blake's hand started to reach for his sword. The King had no reason to do so. Concerned that this might be an issue that his King warned him about he would move quickly to cut his Kings arm. His aim was to cut off the arm, but he knew his Kings strength and constitution were amazing so he might not succeed, but with any luck he would still sever the tendons needed to grip the blade.
