The Attack on Aurora (Aurora Members)

[Blake Oleander]

Blake gasped in pain as his senses returned to him. His chest ripping apart like never before as the beast tried to rip it's way out of him by force. He widened his stance as he fought to straighten his back and face this with pride. The tarnished blade that had been his only faithful companion through everything in his grip as boiling blood pooled down around his feet from his ever-worsening wound. His eyes were not blind to the horror he had unleashed losing its focus and now ripping apart anyone that drew too near. What he needed to do was clear. Taking his blade he'd turn it upon himself, pressing the tip into his flesh below where the energy continued to erupt. Digging in to draw out another small trickle of blood.

A single thrust was all it would take to end the threat that he posed, enough of the enemy was destroyed that his forces should be able to handle it without him. He had every faith in Sai and Brill to see to that with the army they'd formed. And he had hope that Katsu and the small force he took with him would see their mission completed and make it home safe. A lot had changed for Blake over the last year, but he still considered himself the sword and shield of his people. A weapon first and foremost, and if that weapon was turned on his people then it had to be broken. A year ago there would have been no hesitation in driving the blade into his heart. But one thing that had changed was he had something to live for now.

Children on the way. Being a Father was something that he had always dreamed of. A chance to watch his kids grow up and to teach them to be better than he was. To be something that he'd never had himself. And so for the first time, Blake felt a twitch of hesitation as he slowly drove the blade inward.

"We are a guardian of this land and it's people. You will come to heel and pose no risk to its people, or I will end us both. We will not be permitted to destroy what we built."

[Kin Hachirobei]

Kin raised his blade and aimed it for his King's chest. He would wait just a moment longer. To see if his King's stand off with the beast would work, if not. He would assist his King in driving a blade through his heart.

[Zack Asiv]

Katsu dodges the spear and slices a throat, but only just barely. He is bashed with a shield however! (Dmg: 35)

Yanmei's orb obliterates some more archers who begin to fall back.

Blake's commands reach the beast who stops, turning back to a blue hue before it returns to the inner releasing it's attempts to escape. Auroran forces push harder thinking the beasts vanishing as a signal to press the attack.

Kin doesn't have to assist Blake with his suicide!

[Katsu]

Katsu falls to the side from the impact!

He goes to swipe around him in a circle, aiming to cut anyone's knees who come close!

[Blake Oleander]

Blake lowers his sword for a moment bringing a hand to his still bleeding chest as he let out another pained growl as wings erupted from his back. Dripping in membrane and fluids before flapping and unfurling.

"We need to press the attack."

The injured Blake remarked as he began to take flight, blood from the slowly regenerating wound dripping onto the wall where he had been standing from his position in the air.

OOC: Qi use 5

Regeneration - His body heals quickly and he can expend one use of his Qi to heal 1/2 his energy in damage. This power also cuts recovery time between threads in half.

Wings: Through a painful restructuring and rapid growth of his bone structure and muscle structure wings sprout from Blake's back. It adds his energy stat to his speed stat. This also allows him to fly at the same speed as his energy stat.

[Kin Hachirobei]

Kin would follow after his king to join the assault. Immediately slashing the first enemy he came into contact with!

[Qi Yanmei]

She'd give an evil laugh if it didn't seem so undignified.

If that was all for the archers, she'd focus on the enemies Katsu was dealing with, seeing just how many were left!

[Zack Asiv]

Katsu would catch a shield bearer at the shins causing him to fall over with partially dismembered legs. He would have time to get up thanks to his wide attack! However, a loud thump would tell Katsu the large siege weapon had re positioned its self! The crushing arm was being released and coming straight down for him!

Yanmei would be able to see Katsu had two more shield bearers and two spearmen to deal with left! As well as the large siege weapon about to try and crush him.

Blake and Kin join the fray, Kin swings his blade on an enemy who drops, but is quickly met by more Auroran soldiers on the front lines pushing the enemy back. Blake can see from his vantage point that there are less than a hundred enemies left and only three of their walking siege weapons remain. While his forces have taken minimal casualties.

[Katsu]

Katsu springs to his feet, and once again he tries to run towards the machine, both to throw off its aim as well as get close enough to attack the machine itself!

[Qi Yanmei]

While Katsu deals with the machine, Yanmei decides she's not sure if her slow will...do anything to something not organic.

So she fires for the spearmen, feeling they were more of a threat!

Binding Sphere- Yanmei tosses a sphere of dark energy, dealing 80% of her energy in damage and slowing the target by 3. (16 damage, -3 to enemy speed)

Kin continues to attack at the enemy soldiers!

"Virgil, be my eyes and tell me the locations of the biggest threats to my people in this battlefield."

Blake would focus in on one of the men near the walking siege weapon's teleporting himself to that person's spot and letting the enemy soldier haplessly fall from the Sky from where Blake was. All while Blake would swipe his hand through the blood oozing from his chest to draw upon himself the sigil to summon the Golem.

"We must protect our people and end these invaders!"

[Zack Asiv]

Katsu is not able to get out of the way in time and takes the full crushing force of the arm! (Dmg: 80)

Yanmei's shots on the spearmen works to knock them back, but there seems to be special properties to their armor which makes her attacks less effective. But they are looking at her now.

Kin continues his assault, but runs into a shield wall! A spear juts out at him! (Dmg: 35)

Blake hears the wilhelm scream as he switches places with some soldier, Virgil responds.

"The only large threats are the siege weapons, there are no strong individuals on this battle field."

The Golem immediately falls from the sky and lands next to Blake. Hearing it's orders it goes to smashing the near by siege weapon.

[Katsu]

Oh boy.

Katsu is all but flattened, crushed into the ground!

[Kin Hachirobei]

Kin winces at the spear strike! He would then attempt to stab the person holding the sheild in front of him from the same spot the spear jutted out from!
