Mental Information

Personality: Daniel is something of a berserker. When outside of battle, he’s nice enough. He’s polite, he’s even somewhat charming.
The moment he gets into a fight, however, he starts to lose that composure. Daniel will often draw out battles to make them last longer, and it’s extremely rare for him to ever back away from a fight once he’s in one. When fighting, he experiences an extreme rush, and the joy is difficult to overcome.
Mentality: Only the strong survive.
Ideal: To unite the world under Prota’s influence.
Belief:Blood for blood.

History Information

History:

    One of three triplets born to his family, Daniel had always had big shoes to fill. His father was a legendary soldier in Prota’s army, up until he decided he would be better fit to train up and coming Prota soldiers. His mother, while not quite as combat-oriented as his father given she was an immigrant to Prota later on, served to keep the children in check, while giving them something of a more normal upbringing. They remained loyal to Prota, of course, but not quite to the same violent extent their father portrayed.

    Growing up, Daniel was often teased mercilessly by his brother, Jack Jr., and his sister Wysteria. The two took after their father more than he did, as he had inherited at least some of his mother’s polite mannerisms. Yet the trio stuck together against anyone who would dare mess with them, often acting as one whenever they needed to. The three soon entered the academy their father worked at, training hard to try and live up to him.

    It was during this time that Jack Jr. disappeared.

    The family didn’t understand, though Jack the senior never spoke of it, instead changing the subject whenever it was brought up. From his eighteenth year until he was twenty-three, Daniel lost nearly all memories of his brother, until he suddenly returned. Jack Jr. was different, however, his body discoloured and seemingly stitched together. He was far more powerful than either of his siblings, despite the fact that they used to be close in strength before, though they seemingly reconnected nearly immediately afterwards. Jack Jr. never mentioned where he’d been, but his newfound strength was something Daniel couldn’t help but be jealous of, and he wanted to find a way to shorten the gap between them.

    And so, he began training to become a Reclaimer.

Jack used to be a soldier in Prota’s army. Heavily decorated, he soon retired to help train the new generations of soldiers growing up in Prota. Cocky, foul mouthed, and having a distinct love for violence, Jack is willing to do anything to further Prota’s goals.

Mother: Absinthe Makaila.

Absinthe emigrated to Prota after witnessing firsthand how successful its armies had been during the Great War. While her ideals swiftly shifted to match those of her new husband’s, she insisted on teaching her children at least a degree of manners and respect. She manages communications at one of Prota’s training facilities.

Brother: Jack Junior.

Jack Jr. is the most powerful of the triplets, now that he has returned from his disappearance. While he looks something like a Frankenstein’s monster, there is no questioning the results of whatever has happened to him. Jack Jr. takes after his father, though he leans more on the reckless side than even Jack did in his youth.

Sister: Wysteria.

Wysteria is something of a bully. She enjoys pushing both Daniel and Jack Jr.’s buttons, mostly because she knows she can get away with it. Despite inheriting some of her mother’s more physical attributes, she hasn’t inherited her manners, and she has a sadistic streak rarely seen outside of those who need to be “rehabilitated” in Prota.

Focus of the Killer - Once per thread when using a ranged weapon Daniel may hold his action for up to two posts. Each post adding his full energy to his next ranged attack.

Animal instinct: Daniel and Nova may swap places in a thread at the cost of 1 Qi Use. Who says cats and dogs can't be friends?

Farren can help Daniel through a situation by giving him confidence in his own abilities, removing all negative effects or stat debuffs on him or his allies once per thread.

Farren can negate the damage or injury of one reckless attack per thread as long as the injury or damage came from an attack that put Daniels body on the line.

Farren can tank one hit in a thread like it's nothing, tsk'ing and lighting up a cigarette at the same time to demoralize the attacker and lower their over all damage by 30 for four posts due to feeling lesser than Farren.

Head:

Proto Helm: +12 Eng, +10 Def
This Proto Helm looks like your average necklace or choker, but activates for combat situations to protect the head and face. The wearer becomes immune to poison or disease effects, and also gains a Heads Up Display with information like range, temperature, visual zoom, and weather or not a target is stronger or weaker than the wearer. It does not say by how much (Total stats decide). The Proto Helm can automatically inject stimulant gas into the wearer to have various effects. It can enhance a chosen stat by +16, or it can allow the wearer to open a portal between two points they can see, or slash a blade shaped beam of energy at a target that does his energy stat +20 in damage. Can only use each ability once per thread.

Chest:

Mando Armor: +12 Def
The Mando Armor is ancient, in some cases hundreds of years old. Some ancient clan of people fused crystals together and formed metal around it for some of the most durable armor ever made. It's technique of creation lost to history, but in this time of Qi and hand-to-hand combat it's usefulness has become far more prevalent.

Hands:

Blackwater Hand Cannon (Celine Dion): +15 Eng, -10 Spd
This Hand Cannon is modeled after the canons used in the Defense of Blackwater. Every trigger squeeze fires from three barrels unloading a massive energy ball the size of a person almost six feet in diameter. This energy ball will demolish anything in it's path with the force of Daniel's energy +32 for 40 feet before exploding. Can be fired four times a thread. It is incredibly heavy.

Misc: Energy Shield: Once activated the device pulls in Qi from the user and projects a defensive dome around the person. The dome has an HP equal to the user's Eng stat. The user can spend more Qi points into it to make the shield stronger. (1 QP = Eng stat, stackable)

Misc: Terrence and Philip - +12 Energy
These special issue handguns take energy from Daniel and fire energy element projectiles that do his energy +24 in damage.

Blackwater Service Ribbon [ADD-ON]: +5 Def, +5 Spd
This ribbon has the colors of house Blackburn of red and black on one side and Cabals colors of white and blue on the other, to show unity.

Wood from a Flying Sleigh [Material]: So one night you may or may not have seen a jolly man in a sleigh pulled by reindeer. And supposedly it was flying through the air, so of COURSE you shot at it with Qi attacks/Magic/Weapons. The only proof is this wood that happens to levitate about a foot above whatever object it's above. This material holds elemental power over ice, wind, and can even allow a person to levitate.

Battle Form (Ranged):

When in Battle Form, Daniel is able to change the element type of all projectiles within a 20ft radius of himself to any other base element type. Costs 1 Qi use per post.

Battle Form Level 2 - When Daniel changes the element type of a projectile, it gains a bonus effect depending on what element it transforms into. For example, Lightning would lower the foe's speed by 20%, Poison would lower the foe's defense by 20%, Fire would increase the damage of the projectile by 20%, etc. Locked

Battle Form (Close Combat):

This form was built to be fast and agile, with heightened senses and dangerous claws and teeth. (Daniel now has a permanent Wolf Tail courtesy of Leon)

While in Beast Form, Daniel gains +12 Attack and +12 Speed. Costs 1 Qi use to maintain this form.
