Soni walked up to the counter cheerfully.
"Hey hi I'm here to drop my little bird off? I heard that y'all take good care of qi animals and help them to be a little more... or rather a little less uh... helpless?"
Muse cooed with a confused look at Soni. "Oh hush."
"Her name is Muse and she's cool and super sweet. Can you take care of her?"
After the casual exchanges with the lady at the desk Soni sighed. "Okay big girl," she began, lightly petting the colorful feathered friend. "Be strong, sis is gonna come pick you up when you're done okay? I love you kiddo." After a kiss and a wave, and a return cuddle from Muse, of course, the nurses carried the little creature off to be taken care of.
"Please don't kill her!" Soni would request, only half joking. She would then nervously walk out and await paging...
