Weight: 138lbs
Blood Type: O+

Miscellaneous:
Personality: Diligent and practical, Kyla keeps most at a polite distance and follows the old ways / pre-Aurora ways when it comes to lifestyle. She prefers to focus on what can be done, and while she may have some foresight, she does focus more on the now. The betrayal of her village's leaders has left her cautious in trusting others outside those of the original terrtiory's survivors. Allies have a better glimpse of the friendliness she used to show more openly.
Mentality: Home and family above all others, and are worth everything.
Ideal: Honor and Wisdom in equal measure
Belief: The needs of the many come before the needs of the few.
Build: Toned
Defining Marks: A scar on her left palm from her wedding vows years ago.
Description:
History: Like many in her generation, Kyla lost her parents in the war that tore through the nation. Raised with the other orphans in Territory 63, She was raised by the village and saw them all as family, those to defend and protect as they were home, as much as they would for her. Battle and struggle were a part of life for as long as she can remember, a fact of life as much as a way of living. Death was common, whether from battle to a hunting accident or even just not having enough water. She didn’t remember much from life before, and accepted her life as a warrior without question – and with gusto.
She married her husband, Kai, a long time hunting partner, a pair that got along and believed in what they were taught. Outsiders remained outside, and while others in their village could become impure qi users, neither had lost biological family to such a curse. That didn’t stop Kai from falling to an enemy’s blade during an ambush from one of the surrounding territories, They both knew that they could lose each other, but Kyla turned her attention towards the art of healing and field triage to prevent the same thing from happening again.
With the betrayal of the Elders came devastation and confusion, loss and conflict. The loss of life, the loss of family, including the son she had brought into this world and had seen such hope for. Now it’s a world where those who were exiled or slain for their impurity now suddenly had a new place in the world, where they were to be welcomed into their home. A home that had consisted of forty survivors and a merged territory, and now was a growing, glorious city that people came to see for solace and sanctuary, to build a home instead of take what little there was. For the first time, there was enough water for people, and a general peace.
Despite the elevation the surviving families received in rank, Kyla remains a warrior, training and working with others and living a modest life on her own as she continues to work on her training and knowledge of healing now that Aurora has grown and has teh technology and knowledge. Times may be peaceful now, but no peace can last forever.
