Meeting Oceanus (Assignment/Open)

The wind continued to pick up and he could hear and feel the walls groaning in protest before breaking as the first board snapped off the wall flying away. In a moment Triton would have nowhere left to hide.

[Triton Augustus]

At last! Triton unveiled that which was as gold to him!

A small box of "baking soda" and a vessel of vinegar. This shall react with great energy, yes? his mind queried. Running from the wooden beams ripping out from structure, Triton released the elements into the air and mixed them together, and the the two began to react, being mixed by the wind that surrounded them!!

It wasn't much of a bang, more of a messy fizz that was created, the wind whipped it and got everything kinda gross but it seemed unharmed as it tore through the building. The crystal at it's core gleaming with power as the wood was flung away leaving Triton exposed!

[Triton Augustus]

With haste, Triton made his way to a tree with a sturdy trunk of great girth. His body hid behind the wooden tower whilst his eye observed the beast.

It was surrounded by a foam, like that of the sea, and how silly it looked indeed! As the islander released a boisterous laugh from his lungs, Oceanus crawled onto the tree and clung tight to a branch.

"Look, little one!" Triton called out to his little blue friend perched in the branch above him. "Look at the beast of foam and how foolish it looks!" A directed gesture of his finger would proclaim to all the creatures of the woods that the large blue man laughed at the spinning foamed tormentor. The laughter would ensue.

The elemental paid no heed to the sounds the blue man-made and instead continued it's every growing furious rampage. Branches ripping from the trees and the planks from the building swirling around to slam into Triton! The crystal in the storm's heart thrumming with power.

[Triton Augustus]

The great tree protected him from many blows, but many struck him nonetheless. His scales hardened so that his strength would be increased, and the wood broke against his scaled flesh and bones. Yet again, Triton met the acquaintance of the bitter friend known as Pain, and she covered his body.

Pain never arrived without companion. In this moment her ally was wrath, and it filled Triton. He reached out and grabbed a shard of wood; splinters cut his hand. Then with all his strength Triton rushed forward and thrust the wood toward the sparkling crystal.

Iron Scales: Triton can harden the scales that cover his body, allowing him to take more punches and deal them back harder, giving him +9 Def and Atk.

The wood would hit the crystal with enough force to crack it, power erupted from the crystal as wind exploded outward in all directions (attack 45) before the crystal dropped to the ground, still faintly humming with power but dormant.

[Triton Augustus]

Triton approached the crystal, Oceanus following close behind him. The reptile scurried across the earth laid waste by the fallen foe, and met with Triton's hand as it reached down to gather the crystal. His eyes gazed deep into the stone of glass. "Curious," he uttered to his friend perched atop his skull.

The wind picked up just briefly when he picked up the crystal and he could feel the power humming within. However it seemed like the elemental was vanquished and him and his friend were still alive.

Triton defeats the Wind Elemental and gains the Heart of the Storm!

Heart of the Storm Crystal (Consumable)
Destroying the Heart of the Storm creates a blast of violent wind around Triton that shoots out 20 feet in all directions dealing his energy in damage to all caught in the blast.
