Lucky Her... (Open)

[Katsu]

"I do."

He nods with a small smile.

"I primarily fight with swords, but I could teach you some close-combat techniques if you wanted."

[Qi Yanmei]

"He doesn't need one of those...things...on his sword." Yanmei grimaces.

They can go all out with sword lessons. She's pretty sure that'd make Katsu's entire year since Yanmei never takes those lessons very seriously, herself.

[Lucille "Lucky" O'Donnovan]

While she was workin and talking to these two she actually took out some mono-eyed binocular device ans decided to take a closer look at the shards she was taking.

"Swords, knives, didgeridoos... I am up for it." she saw a lack of something with in one crystal and checked a couple of others to be sure. A hopeful look left her face and she emptied out all her samples in the dirt where they belonged.

"They have no qi veins... These are just rocks." she slumped over herself her brow suddenly lower over her eyes and practically flat lined with a bottom lip poking slightly out.

A hand met her chin as she rubbed it thinking. "Maybe the qi here is dried up...?" she tried to think of the logical answers. Qi crystals were pretty rare but they can be found. She was certain this however would set her back in pace.

[Katsu]

“I wouldn’t.”

Katsu reassures Yanmei, giving her a sympathetic smile, before looking at Lucky again.

“Dried up? Is it a problem with the land itself?”

[Qi Yanmei]

"Didgeri-what?"

[Lucille "Lucky" O'Donnovan]

Lucky shook her head. "No, like wells dry up or springs dry up it just means another outlet has been made for the flow of water or in this case, the Qi has found another outlet. It is a natural process and in no way should harm this place and its resources. Qi still flows through here... just not more than what it needs to thrive. The crystals grow by absorbing an abundant of Qi this land has none to offer such parasitic minerals." The thought made her chuckle. "These crystals would be nothing more than cute and cheap jewelry pieces."

[Katsu]

"I don't know what that means."

Katsu sighs.

"But basically they aren't... dangerous to Yanmei, then?"

[Qi Yanmei]

"That WOULD be a relief."

Even if she still wouldn't trust them.

[Lucille "Lucky" O'Donnovan]

"A hundred percent harmless, unless she wanted to carve one into a toothpick sized spear and poke your eye out these are absolutely harmless to the both of you." she shrugged with a grin on her face.

[Katsu]

"Ok."

He nods, grinning back.

"Forgive me. Yanmei is very important to me. I tend to want to make sure she's alright."

[Qi Yanmei]

"I'm a delicate little butterfly." she sighs dramatically.

[Lucille "Lucky" O'Donnovan]

"And I hope you don't find me rude for asking... What kind if relationship do the two of you share? Lovers, friends, companions...?" she made a hand gesture through the air. "Neither of you have to answer if its a strange question or rude. No need for labels for sure but I run away with my curiosity I apologize in advance if that was just too forward."

[Qi Yanmei]

"Ohhh, our relationship hm?"

She taps her chin with her finger then grins and shrugs.

"I suppose I've been known to refer to him as daddy~."

[Katsu]

"Mei-Mei, please!"

Katsu's cheeks flush with embarrassment.

"She's my Qi. Made manifest."

[Lucille "Lucky" O'Donnovan]

She Liked Yanmei and her Jokes this Sprite was making Lucky's gut hurt from all her laughing. Lucky doesn't laugh much... she was usually quiet and to the point, a few chuckles from Lucky and that is basically her version rolling on the floor in hilarity.

"Mei-Mei, some view their Qi as no more than a weapon to be used. I would that is not the case. So then you are friends even if the best of friends? Even if Literally one a part of another."
