Family Business (GM/Evelyn)

[Sir Galahad]

Liam would take a step forward as Evelyn came rolling towards him, slamming a foot on her back pinning her in place. She would feel a sharp pain on the back of her neck as Liam's sword cut her skin as it nested on the back of her neck, prepared to slice through her brain stem.

"One more step towards my settlement and I will kill your progeny. If you take another step, I will kill you."

M would stop mid charge towards Evelyn as she saw her leader standing on her adversaries back. She wasn't happy the fight had been cut short. But she would not disobey her Leader.

A grin tugged at the corner of Mathew's lips.

"And tell me, are you as ignorant as your guards are to who exactly I am?"

[Evelyn Amtrum]

Evelyn froze at the feel of a blade against her body, nostrils flaring as she felt Liam's sword against her skin. The redhead's eyes flashed anger, not at him or M, but for letting herself get in this vulnerable situation in the first place. She held her action for now, but that woudl quickly change if Liam did anything but pull his sword back where it belonged.

[Sir Galahad]

"Never heard of you."

Liam would say bluntly.

[Mathew Amtrum]

"Well then, this does take me back."

A brutal and jagged sword appeared in Mathew's hand from nothing as he slowly turned around to face the two.

"Considering it is you who stepped into the fight first, without M giving her input. I assume that means you are ready to fight? Or do me and my daughter continue toward the village?"

Eve's eyes roll towards Liam at the question, noting the blade Mathew called forth, giving the chief a look that could almost be bored. Did she know all the details? Hell no. But she knew from when she was a kid that her father didn't waste words. None of them did. And if that meant there'd be a way for her to get back up from this besides just her own will power, then she would.

Eve was done. With a sigh, she shifted her hand and let the beam ring hit the blade, reflecting off of Liam's sword to hit him in the face!

Qi Mutation: Smite - Evelyn is able to further charge her inner strength and unleash it through her constructs. Shaped like blades, they hurl themselves at the enemy for a single strike. 1/2 her ENG is added to SPD and ENG, doing her full ENG in damage.

Misc: Beam Emitter (+5 Eng): A ring capable of emitting a beam that does her energy in damage up to four times a thread. If reflected off or passed through a metallic object the beam adds her energy stat to damage calculations.

Liam was about to respond to Mathew when he notice Evelyn beginning to move. So he promptly stopped that by applying just enough downward force to cleanly sever her spinal cord. Evelyn's entire body would go numb and cold. She can no longer move anything.

"As I was saying. Yes, I will fight you now."

He would say to Mathew.

[Mathew Amtrum]

"Good, then this wasn't a waste of my time."

He'd crack his neck as he extended a hand outward away from the gathered fighters. Dirt would lift up to cover Eve's body before pulling her away from Liam and M as she was covered up to her neck in the Earth. The ground rumbling around them as a two-story house erupted from the ground.

"This is why it is important to not slack in your training." He'd say to Evelyn with the tired sigh of a parent who saw a bad grade on a report card.

OOC: Black Friday Remembrance Wrap (ADD ON) (+5 Def): Once per thread you can call on an approved ability from anyone your character has ever encountered, except a QC "Cast the Dawn" Leaves (x8): When fed to a dying individual, these leaves can bring them back from the brink of death, healing their most damaging wounds. It has limited scope, however, and does not affect minor injuries nor decrease the level of exhaustion someone feels.

That went not at all how she'd prefer. The lack of sensation was the most alarming part, the sense of disconnect after a split second of his sword pressing down. Evelyn's nostrils flared as she inhaled, unable to do anything but watch as Liam agreed to combat and the world shifted around her, the earth like a cocoon as it rumbled, unfelt but seen.

"Yes, sir." It was humiliating, but the point was made as their home rose up from the earth in style, warmth and pain washing over her in equal measure as the herbs were used. Her eye twitched as she winced, biting back the hiss as the feeling and motor function returned to her and the wound was burned over with a fresh scar.

More curious was how the other two would take to the new development.

Liam would raise an eye brow to the house coming out of the ground. Well, that was new. However, Liam was the one growing bored now.

"I agreed to fight, so are you going to fight or are you all bark?"

[Mathew Amtrum]

Mathew simply formed a stone in his hand from the carbon dioxide in the air flicking it at Liam as he swiped his blade to hit it like a baseball!

"Woof."

The Tattoos connect and add all bonuses to each other. (If one person activates it and gets +5 Atk, it activates someone else's tattoo, they choose +5 Spd, both get +5 Atk and +5 Spd.) (+10 energy)

Sniper Shot: Mathew can take a small rock and launch it at anything he can see doing 150% his energy in damage. Can only be used once.

Locked Blade - Mathew's Heart is fractured due to loss and persona. Only ever staying true to Mathew's needs and goals has created a brutal and jagged broad sword. Adding 1/4th his energy stat to his Attack stat. Should he act without selfish intention the blade will not appear.

Liam's right foot would slide back as he shift to his side. He would pull out his blade to slice the earth bullet as it rushed towards him. Causing it to be sliced in half and sending the projectiles flying to either side of him. Liam would respond by slicing the air. It would make a sound like a LOUD, PIERCING, Whistle. Evelyn and Mathew both would feel as though a someone was sliding a Red Hot Knife into their ears.

Stats w/ items: 200

Sword attack: -25% Per to everyone within range to hear the sound.

Son of a bitch that hurt. Evelyn's lips would curl at the ear-piercing shriek that was disorienting, but she's still healing and chilling in the earth cocoon, she she gets to observe for now!

It was the first time she'd really get to see her father go at it without training her or Spike. A learning experience.

She had no idea.

[Mathew Amtrum]

Mathew grunted at the loud piercing sound coming from his wind slash, but he held his ground as he lifted a hand up to cause the ground to rumble, large hunks of stone and dirt lifting into the air around their battlefield. Then by closing his hand into a fist, the floating hunks of dirt and stone would explode in a shower of spikes toward Liam and a dust cloud to envelop them both. He could play the perception game too.

Level 4: Geokinetic Levitation - Mathew is able to telekinetically move and levitate stone and metal objects. (+12 to attacks when combined with an attack) Alchemized with Stone Strike - Mathew hits the ground and the shockwave sends out small pillars or projectiles of stone at his foe. 1/4th energy stat added to his attack. (Mutation: the stone projectiles are now covered in hardened Qi for additional damage! +18 for Damage Calculations)

[Sir Galahad]

Liam would raise an eyebrow. This should be interesting. There would be a smoke cloud then all the spikes would plummet towards him. However, once they hit instead of shattering they would fall to the ground as if they lost all their momentum as soon as they hit Liam's body.

"Hmmm."

Not bad. But not great. Liam would close his eyes and concentrate. Flicking the blade with his armored finger, creating a loud ringing noise. The sound would then paint a picture in Liam's mind of the surrounding area. It didn't seem like Mathew had moved yet. What was his plan? Liam wondered. For now though he would just sit in the dust cloud and wait.
