A single finger raised from his fist toward Liam, his middle finger to be exact. The being breathed in by Liam would coalesce inside of his body before he'd form his stone spikes once more, smaller and internally this time.

(Mutation: the stone projectiles are now covered in hardened Qi for additional damage! +18 for Damage Calculations)
Locked Blade - Mathew's Heart is fractured due to loss and persona. Only ever staying true to Mathew's needs and goals has created a brutal and jagged broad sword. Adding 1/4th his energy stat to his Attack stat. Should he act without selfish intention the blade will not appear.

Painful, Liam could definitely say that he wasn't expecting that. A smile would come to his lips as a helmet materialized on his head. Specifically the Helmet from the settlement. Evelyn would notice the helmet de-materialize out of the settlement. He would raise a glowing hand and pat his chest removing himself of the unwelcome contaminants in his throat and lungs.
"You are quite more fun to play with than I thought you were going to be!"
Liam called out. Liam raised his blade, his glowing gauntlet would send the light into his sword and he would slice the air towards Mathew sending out that beam of energy straight for him and Evelyn! If anyone gets hit by this ability they will find that they now have earth spikes in their throat and lungs!

"Oh, I'm just getting started. It's time to rock and roll."
He felt the beam slash through his cloud of dust, the ripples pinging loud and clear for him. His body became clad in the armor of the Scorpion King as he summoned forth the Qi Beast's soul to aid him. Pulling on his dormant power to fill his body and released his God-Right. They may not know him, but it did not diminish his divinity, nor the power of his blood. The Dragonblood within.
Launching himself up into the air with a stone spike erupting under his feet he'd spin and twist mid-air as stone formed over his leg from the carbon dioxide in the air before striking the incoming beam to try and send it right back at Liam with gusto.

Eye of a Mentor: Mathew's capable of seeing a person's lowest stat through the most minimal of body language. Should he capitalize on this the counter stat increases by +15 for the following post. Can be done twice per thread. (Str vs Def, Per vs Spd, Energy vs Energy, etc and vise versa.) (Energy)

The boots of the Earth Dragon have special soles allowing his Qi to work through them. These boots also are able to add Mathews full energy to his Atk stat for one attack with his legs.
Any Stone Mathew creates instead of manipulates gives +30 to effects, this does not count towards Mathew's ultimate. Mathew now is physically harmed and is vulnerable to water and ice. Taking +150% dmg from water and ice sources.

Despite Mathew's impressive display of power the wave would go through Mathews leg. It would feel cold then he would feel the pain of earth growing inside of his lungs.
"Impressive."
The power behind that attack was unmistakable. But if that was the best he could do... Liam would slowly make his way towards Mathew.

Mathew grinned as he felt the stone hardening within his body. But it was something of his domain and he'd bend it back to nothingness before slipping down into the ground, tunneling under the earth as it gave way to his will to pop up behind Liam to slap the back of the helmet, his hand covered in hardening stone from the air. The intention was to use the impact to ripple through the helmet and dent it as small blunted pillars slammed inward toward Liam's skull.

Mathew would slap the back of Liam's helmet. However as soon as he touched Liam it would feel as though all the kinetic energy in his attack would be gone and his hand would just stop, it would feel as though he never even moved it at all. However when Mathew would attempt to crush the helmet he would find that there was a small energy field, similar to that of the ones the guards used earlier, was covering the helmet preventing Mathew from being able to manipulate it.
Liam would spin around and deliver 3 slices to Mathew's chest. Then he would take a step back and hold his now vibrating sword at the ready.

Mathew would let the blade hit his chest, the stone he formed over his body was always there to protect him, in addition to the soul of the Scorpion King.
"So you rely on the same shield technology for almost everything. Uncommon."
But not unheard of. More than one person could make shields like that. And Qiless fighters that used technology still existed in certain pockets. It was all well and good, but still flawed. With a tap of his foot he sent his energy into the ground but instead of tunneling himself, he'd sink Liam into the ground, right up to his chin so he could give it a good kick. Rai style.

The earth beneath Liam's feet would become as soft as water, it almost caught him off guard as he sunk in down to his ankles before stopping and rising back out of the dirt, his boots would be glowing.
"Flattery will get you no where."
Same shield technology. Ha! The fool. Liam would back away from Mathews kick, and aim to kick Mathews foot. Mathew would now realize that his foot felt a lot heavier, A LOT heavier, like... the weight of Liam wearing all his armor, heavy. (400ish lbs).

Sean Barker would come walking out of the house, wearing a pink floral apron and oven mitts. He would take the mitts off with a sigh and walk over to Evelyn, putting them in the apron pockets, he would kneel and check her out with a small whistle.
"Do you feel like you did a good job? That's what's important, let's get you taken care of."
Barker would move to take Evelyn inside.

Weird culture, but whatever. His Qi rippled through his body as his foot was forced to the ground by the unexpected weight, his grin widening ever so slightly as his gun slide up his body and shifted and coiled around his Qi blade as he tightened his grip.
"I wonder though."
Energy rippled around him cracking in the air as the kyber crystal embedded in the weapon sprang to life. Lightning seemed to fill the air as Mathew's voice rang out next, shouting at the top of his lungs to the very heavens.
"E ehjuga dra Mekrdhehk Tnykuh"
The blade of the Lightning Dragon fusing with his two contained weapons to make The Blade of Perun. His mace can take care of the shield from what he'd already seen. But just in case he wanted to see just what he could handle. With energy arcing off of the blade he'd swing it for Liam!

Cabal Ring: +5 Energy (Earth Dragon Seal Add On) +5 Energy
By showing loyalty to Cabal the wearer may summon a lesser form of a Dragon's sword. Words seem to sprout from their mouth of their own will. The only incantation the ring has learned so far is;
"E ehjuga dra Mekrdhehk Tnykuh" - This summons the blade of the Lightning Dragon. This blade adds 1/2 the users ENG stat to the wielders ATK stat. This lasts four posts and can not be knocked from the wielders hand. This changes all damage types the wielder does to 'Lightning' type.
God of War Mace: +5 Atk, +5 Def
- Kyber Crystal (weapon add on): +5 ENG
- Is made of Qi manipulable materials.
- Will negate a defense based Qi, or destroy a Qi based construct.
The Kyber Crystal focuses and concentrates energy from the user. Turning a weapons damage into Qi or Energy based elemental damage. The Kyber Crystal is activated and lasts four posts. It's color changes depending on the person using it. 1/4

For a while, Evelyn was too engrossed in the fight to care much about her position. The armor, she'd seen, but the rest was something out of a story. She could sense the energy coming off of him - it was impossible not to - and couldn't imagine a time where she would have needed the same to survive. Would she ever have that?
Looking up as he drew near, Evelyn gave Barker a familiar but sheepish smile.
“Hey, Uncle Sean." Eve grimaced and shook her head with a dismayed noise. Was it what mattered? Between the fatigue and how her fight ended, it didn't sit as right as ikkt used to. Her body ached a bit, but she felt more tired from her fight with M than that. The hits had been solid, but it felt like she'd lasted longer in teh fight than she had before. It felt good.
“I could have done better." She grimaced as she pushed the dirt away as he helped her up, rubbing the back of her neck with one hand. The oven mitts and floral apron were as normal to her as clouds in the sky, and a welcome reminder of home and the things she'd missed out on.

The man in the apron and oven mitts was by far the strangest thing Liam had ever seen. He was so distracted that he didn't even attempt to block Mathew's attack. The sword would hit Liam on the side of his head. The energy field didn't dissipate immediately however. It wavered and resisted for a moment before finally cracking and shattering allowing Mathews attack to hit home. The hit would knock Liam back a bit before he caught himself.
Shaking his head Liam would bring a hand up to his jaw. He would be smiling, even as blood leaked out from under his helmet.
"Damned impressive! What else you got?!"
All of Liam's armor began to glow as he flicked his sword which would then begin to emit a new sound. As the sound spread Mathew would find himself surrounded by 6 different Liam's all with glowing armor! Each would dart towards him at different speeds and intervals slashing at him with their swords!
Dmg: 300 per attack total of 1800

Mathew would simply fall into the Earth as the clones rushed at him, popping up in front of his gate a moment later, brushing some dust from his shoulders.
"Nothing that I care to show off on a first meeting. I've seen what I need and this is a place I can start at."
