To say Valerian was “busy” during these few years would only be half true. Yes, he did devote his time to keeping his body in shape, but much of it was also spent socializing with the many… many… many females of Territory 259. Throughout it all, he kept his eyes and ears open, learning from nurses, research assistants, doctors… anyone who knew anything about Qi.
This, in turn, would lead to several breakthroughs in Valerian’s own efforts to improve his own Qi, something that he hadn’t really put too much effort into prior to heading to Cabal. These three years, however, would cause him to learn by leaps and bounds compared to before.
