Reaching the second floor they would see the entrance to the second floor, a sign stating they were on floor 2 of 51, and stairs leading up. Do they choose to explore the second floor or move up?

This appears to be a hallway full of doors. Rose opens two rooms finding them to be empty, the third however they would find a man sleeping on a couch.
