8? That's it? Hm.

"I have no idea."

He shrugs, stopping next to him.

"I've uh... never been here before. You think they know?"

He nods towards the other two, before.... the man was punching the ground...

Luckily enough Mathew applied enough force to the crag to shape a basic staircase, he does however note it was difficult to shape... Even for him.

[Evelyn Amtrum]

Well if he's just gonna turn tail and talk to someone else, fine. Eve shrugs it off and frowns at the warning.

"Where are we?"

[Zack Asiv]

Lucky is able to get some earth shavings, and notes some sort of static spark coming off the wall when it's damaged. However, she would note now at this point, she could not move.

[Avice Locke]

Avice notices the others but not really losing her focus she stayed where she saw a most certain movement.

"Oi!" she called for who might listen. "Mind someone to be watching me back, I think I be spotting somethin'."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"The End."

He'd motion for her to follow him as he leads her up the staircase as he went to open up a hole to the next level. He'd not bother to keep the staircase longer than he and Eve needed it if he was having trouble bending here. Not for someone who apparently wanted him dead.

"Best to leave before they notice you too.  Word to the wise."  He called back toward the echoing woman. 

[Drake]

Drake would reluctantly look back to note Mathew's actions. Sigh...

"Unfortunately it looks like... But I wouldn't want to be any where near the man. He is a death magnet."

Then he would hear a familiar voice.

"Smurfette?"

He would then make his way to Avice!

"Sounds like we should be ni-"

Oh. Okay. We're looking at someone else now.

Val's interested in following the lady, since the other two don't seem... ah... up for company.

[Lucille "Lucky" O'Donnovan]

"Shoot..." The spark happened and she was frozen. "Heeeey... Halp plz." she was remotely calm but she wasn't sure if anyone was still near to help or would be able to try

The next floor up Mathew finds something he shouldn't. At least not here. Some defunct control room, Barker soldier uniforms and scattered bones. Mixed with the usual crags and black mud, is bones, thick black rubber like walls and doors. There are also old defunct computers... This is where the Kraken slaughtered a room of control scientists under Mathews order.

He placed his hands on the barker computers and would try to trace through the metal in the wires to follow it and map out this facility. It was different than last time he was here, obviously a bit of his doing. But that was life.

[Evelyn Amtrum]

"Okay." Eve gives a small nod and does stay close, a feeling of goosebumps along her skin as she looked behind them to see if anyone else was coming. The few they'd seen seemed...lost. Or something. And she couldn't get rid of the creepy feeling along her skin as they made her way upward.

Definitely not where she wanted to be.

[Avice Locke]

She heard the voices and recognized them. One, in particular, stuck out to her when Drake approached.

"That death magnet... might honestly be the safest one to be around." She looked at Drake as they met up. She contemplated her course of action. Mathew seemed to know where he was going. Without saying a word she'd heed his warning and move towards Mathew.

It's too late for Drake and Val. The Shadows know they are there. And there is audible breathing, and visible ripples in the mud.

Lucky calls for help! She can see her shadow, showing a smile and eyes.

Mathew is able to map the facility... He is upside down, the very gravity seems to be broken here. By going up he is actually going down.
