Drake would say between heaves and breaths. He would then, again, proceed to the water. This time avoiding the plants as much as possible. He would use the water to wash his skin and hopefully reduce some of the irritation.

There aren't any nearby, but, he grabs on to the creature's stick!
The creature contemplates the importance of its stick for about half a second before it decides to let go.
It had a second stick, thanks to Rai. It could part with one.

He's hanging on!! The current is pretty strong though, it's not easy to pull himself out. The rocks are also slippery so finding his footing is difficult as well! Does he keep trying to pull?

He sees at least 30 more of that creature...all just standing there...looming over him.

He would say, still trying to catch his breath from vomiting and then immediately trying to fight the rapids to get back to shore. Not to mention he was still hungry since he vomited up the little he had had to eat in the last two days.

He is feeling pretty weak.
The whole slew of them start ECKING and honking, creating so much annoying noise. They all raise various sticks in the air, bouncing up and down.
