Training Ms. Vivienne

[Sir Galahad]

James would tilt his head from side to side.

"Not so much as weaker... per se, as much as... well they have potential to be strong warriors in many ways, but typically their Seikatsugan potential is on the weaker side than a full blood member of the main family. If they are lucky enough to be born with it at all. So, its a coin toss for ever branch member whether they are strong or not."

About half way through where the people are walking around the most.

"Here is where all the shops and those within the clan with skills or talents outside of fighting dwell. One might think that in our clan they would be looked down upon. But quite the opposite, our clan produces many warriors so when we have someone born with talent to make food, weapons, or other necessities in life and combat they are kept the safest because they help us sustain our way of life even if the outside world would neglect us."

[Novocaine]

Her eyes shift constantly to gather more of a picture of where she is, but she's listening to every word. It's about what she expected, though she had more questions about those eyes.

"It's nice to see other talents being celebrated. It is true life would be harder here if no one could cook or build."

She looks at the buildings as she says that. I mean they'd been sturdy enough to have her stepping on them so that was a good sign.

[Sir Galahad]

"Indeed, we would be hard pressed to make a living on Mercenary work alone. You see, we don't actually work for the money, we work because we enjoy the thrill of a good fight. And, well, if you're good at something, don't do it for free right? Well, at least I'm sure what someone thought when they first turned our clan into mercenaries."

He shrugged.

"No real pain for me honestly. I get to fight, I get to travel, and I get paid. Pretty solid win/win/win situation there."

They would make it across the busy street.

"Here we have the beginning of the main branch family housing. As well as training centers and combat arenas. This is were the main branch teach those that are too weak, or young to train outside of the compound like everyone else. But once you pass your trails everyone trains together outside, no matter if you are Main or Branch family. The Combat arena is for us to blow off some steam while also getting some fun out of it. Every now and then we'll have a Tournament were everyone who wants to participate can sign up. Then we fight in the Combat arena to see who is the strongest. The winners are usually rewarded with special training, money, or a special item that is given to the fighter based on the talent that they showed in the arena. Those things are always fun to watch. I tried to compete when I was younger... but there are some beasts that get in there. So I settle for spectating now."

[Novocaine]

"I see. That's very interesting." she nods along, trying to get that all in her head.

"Considering your current strength, just how much stronger are some of those so-called beasts?"

Just to see the difference between a guard and whatever else may be lurking in here.

[Sir Galahad]

Without even stopping to consider the question.

"Haha! I wouldn't even be a warm up for the people who end up in the finals!"

They continue on their way and are about to the same spot that Nova had made it before.

"Here, is where those beasts live typically. These are the strongest of the main branch and those that have proven themselves from the lower branches of the clan."

The houses here didn't seem nicer in any way though.

"People who live here are respected for more than their place in the family. They are respected for their power and ability. They are the ones that are allowed to live closest to our Clan head."

[Novocaine]

Hmm.

Not that she really knows how much she personally measures up to the guard, it's still something to be wary of. Good to know.

When they get to the houses, she's a bit confused by the lack of...prestige. But maybe they literally only know how to build one kind of house. Like a specialty. Or they just don't put much value in it.

She tries to see if the number of houses here seems a lot smaller, or if they have a fair number of people who have proven themselves.

"I take it you must want to be here some day, huh?"

[Sir Galahad]

James would smile.

"That would be so amazing! I can only hope that one day I'll be string enough to do so!"

[Novocaine]

"You seem dedicated. I have no doubt you could build yourself up to such a level." she grins!

[Sir Galahad]

The man would blush.

"A-anyways, we should continue the tour, there is one final stop that we have to make!"

With that he would motion her to follow him as he made his way towards a larger building in the back.

[Novocaine]

Heheh.

She follows along, noting that this building was actually different than the others.

She gives a low whistle.

[Sir Galahad]

"This is the clan Leaders house. Kentler Sudeki is the current Leader of our clan. But he is going to be the one you need to talk to. Go ahead. I gotta get back to my rounds now or I'll get in trouble! But maybe we can meet up later?"

He asked hopefully. As he started to back away needing to get back to his work...

[Novocaine]

"Sounds fun." she nods and smiles as he leaves, slowly turning back to the house.

If that wasn't her destination she was fine with just getting a look and then getting back on track once lover boy James was gone.

James was gone, and from looking at the location if she remembered the map. This was the area she needed to be in. It was likely that her target was inside.

So be it.

She makes her way in, content to continue her facade of being a new hopeful for now.

Inside there would be a main area, a room in front of her, and walk ways leading to the left and right. The room in front of her was probably where one might find the head of a clan.
