Tina snickered at the whisper before waving Link away. He was going to infect her with that much sunshine. Bleh. With Ardan's fervent headshaking, her eyes widened and narrowed. She could smell bullshit when it came her way.
"Riiiiiight." The scary part was this guy actually did seem to believe it.

Ardan wasn't sure whether to be offended or not by Triton's word choice and the implication that only certain types enjoyed the circus. But he decided to give the man the benefit of the doubt, laughing it off.
"Simply show us what you have to offer. Whether it is as a performer, or perhaps a laborer. You do seem quite strong, but as long as you are kind and carry joy in your heart I'm sure we can find a use for whatever talents you possess."

"Ah yes, well, hm, uh..." the words fell from Triton's lips.
"Come hither little elf!" the islander joyously commanded as he grasped to the creature. Swiftly, he hoisted the boy into the air, and caught him in his scaled arms once more.
"Does that fill you with gladness? Or do you wish for a spectacle once more? I have more to offer I assure you!" Triton declared, careful not to drop the elf if he had not already escaped the scaled man's arms.

Triton releases the elf from his grasp. "Behold!" the islander proclaimed, hardening his scales.
A stone of little size was lifted from the earth by Triton's hand. "Scales of iron!" he shouted, striking himself upon his heart with the stone. It crumbled into many pieces, as coral struck by violent waves.
[Iron Scales: Triton can harden the scales that cover his body, allowing him to take more punches and deal them back harder, giving him +100% Eng to Atk and Def.]

"Ooh, ooh! Can I test them? Can I?" She was practically bouncing on her tiptoes as she reached into a pouch...
