His wife jumps on him for a better view, looks down, and points dramatically at the direction of the sound of scraping.
"Eck," she stage whispers.
Scratch, scratch, scratch.
There's a grunt, but nothing comes out of the shadows.

Drake readies his stick. And motions for his wife to get behind him. Something isn't right... he taps his stick against a nearby tree roughly.

Waifu waits while her husband does...something...with a tree. Then she fires off the sling into the woods!
The stag appears, head lowered as it charges them with its horns aimed right for them!
"Eck!" Waifu darts to the side, but it looks like the buck might be faster!

Drake gets to see where the stone hit the stag, blood at its temple as it nears. He bludgeons the deer, but the bat gets tangled in the antlers as the beast slams into him! The wood cracks and the stag struggles to struggle to mow Drake down! It pushes him back. Waifu roars along with the stag and just grabs a rock instead of her sling to start beating on it! ____________ Current Waifu Stats:STR 25 (30) DEF 5 SPD 10 PER 5 ENG 5

Drake may not be the strongest without his items, but he would still attempt to maneuver the deer by grabbing its antlers. He would then direct them into a nearby tree!

The cracked bat falls to the ground, forgotten as Drake succeeds in directing them into a tree! The deer has no issue in slamming into said tree. The sharpened horns stab his hands.
Waifu attempts to salvage his weapon for him! The doe from earlier enters the clearing from the same direction with wobbly legs.
The stag lowers its head again, stamping at the ground, nostrils flared.

Drake pulls away from the deer, standing with his back to a tree.
"Let's go bitch!"
He would giving a bring it on motion with his hands!

Eck. Honk honk! Waifu throws the bat to Drake. It lands a couple feet away. She proceeds to hurl another stone at the deer as it charges Drake, freely invited.
The stone misses, but at least this one doesn't hit him. The stag does though, charging him to slam right into the tree if he doesn't move.

Drake dives for his stick the very last moment possible. His hope was for the Stag to get its antlers embedded in the tree. If successful he would immediately swing the stick around to smash at the base of the stags skull!

The back of the stick makes a pretty dent in the stag's skull and snaps in two! There's a series of cracking noises from the crunching of bone, the stick breaking into two, and the tree that got abused by teh antlers of the beast.
"ECK!" Waifu throws a rock at it and another one at the doe, which skitters off.

Making sure to not miss the opportunity, and make sure the stag is down and out, drake takes the broken end of the part of the stick he is still holding and stabs it into the neck if the Stag!

It's got a thick hide, so it's going to take more than one stab! If he keeps going, he draws blood.
Waifu is dancing about in a circle around them, but the beast's horns are still pretty deeply wedged in that tree.
