The voices become a bit clearer, and the sound of water is louder, a rushing sound that drowns out the noise of the world behind him. The squirrel laughs and throws something colorful at his head!
There is a bit of moss growing on the trees.
There's no sign of the speakers, but the woods are opening up a bit as Drake goes further in. No footprints, either, or a path. There's sign of scuffed earth and the remains of a fire.

Drake attempts to catch whatever is thrown at his head, successful or not he continues going straight.

Drake catches a painted rock! He keeps it and goes on ahead! The rock itself has what looks like a flower painted on it, if it was done by a five year old. The squirrel disappears for now.
He sees more moss growing on the trees, but they're thinning out more as he goes.
"Eck?" Waifu's voice can be heard, faint, but closer now. It's coming from the opposite direction, where the forest grows thicker.

But Drake falls silent as he continues his path, maybe it was just the hallucinatory drugs, but he felt the need to continue forward.

Drake continues forward and gets a face full of pink squirrel! It scratches at his face as it scrambles to get down and away from him.
Is that daylight ahead?

Drake makes it without too much damage to his face! Yay!
He also makes it out of the woods without his waifu! He can see people dressed in what he'd consider normal clothes not far off!
