"First we will test you speed with a quick sprint."

James would mark a line in the dirt in front of her and then proceed to make another line a little further away. Then he would pull out his watch.

"When I say go. I want you to sprint as fast as you can to this location. Understood."

He would wait for her affirmations before continuing.

"Go."

Sugar nodded and then ran. Fast.

[Sir Galahad]

James would note the time she crossed the line. Then putting away his watch he would once again pull out his book and write down notes.

"Excellent. It appears you are still quite above average human top speed that is good. Next. We shall do a strength test. Follow me."

With that he would lead her to a variety of weights.

"For today we are going to use our striking machine to gauge how strong you're attacks are."

He would walk over and adjust a mechanical system before stepping aside.

"Please attack the pad as hard as you can whenever you are ready."

Sugar stood straight and followed the gentleman, taking small glances at his behind every now and again. It was a rather nice fanny. After he had stopped she tore her gaze from his rear and nodded before taking a stance at the mechanism.

“I should tell you, I don’t fight physically very much.”

Then she would hit it in the center most part. She put all of her non strength into it. It wasn’t much.

James watched the meter and made his notes.

"Mmmhmm, I gathered as much, but this is still a required test. Lets move along."

He would lead her to a tread mill. He would casually adjust the settings.

"From you previous speed I've made the settings for this to equal what would be equivalent jogging pace for you. I want you to run until you can't anymore. Start when you are ready."

Sugar would nod and folllow him once more. Her confidence only slightly altered at his remark, but she still held her head high. This was not a judgement, but a physical. She was fine. This was all fine.

She climbed aboard the machine and jogged for what felt like a long time. She surprised herself on how long she could go.

When she finally tired out James would stop the treadmill and hand Sugar a towel as well as some water. Then he would go back to writing his notes.

"Very good. For the rest of your physical examination we will go back indoors. Where it will be more private."

Then he would make his way back inside and lead her to a medical room.

"Please make yourself comfortable. I will return with the necessary equipment to continue your physical examination. Make sure you are ready for when I return."

With that James would leave Sugar by herself for a moment.

Sugar would walk slowly behind him. With every step her legs wiggles and threatened to stop working. Once they stopped inside sugar would land in a chair and begin stretching out her sore muscles. She knew if they weren’t stretched, it would hurt BADLY in the morning. She drank the water slowly and dabbed st her face and her neck.

James would walk in with a table with a couple devices on.

"First, I'm going to test your reflexes."

He would out a thing that looked like large table binoculars.

"Place your forehead here, and stare into the scope. I want you to hold this button in your hand and every time you see the light move across your vision, I want you to click the button. Whenever you are ready."

Sugar gave him a sightly exasperated look. He was a doctor of sorts so he should have known better.

“Do you think these tests might be in the wrong order? I’d say ‘I’m no expert’ but I’d be lying. Having a reflex test right after instructing a patient to ‘run as long as you can’ does not seem well thought out.”

Sugar stood on shaky legs and pointed to them for emphasis.

“Do you think I’d be able to avoid anything as quickly as I normally could? No. Not after something like what I just did. Muscle failure is a thing I would hope a man of your stature would know about.”

She arched an eyebrow at him and his equipment.

James blinked.

"This an eye examination. You're eyes didn't just go for a run did they? If they did then, a man of my station could still tell you that you are doing it wrong."

She sighed at the man and sat down.

[Sir Galahad]

James would wait as the woman sat. He would then adjust the machine so she could face it comfortably and easily.

"A red dot will appear and begin moving. I would like you track with your eyes as best you can. Be wary the dot will speed up until you can't keep track of it, do your best. There are sensors that will track your eye movements and compare them with the dots positioning. This is how I will test your reflexes."

Sugar withstood the impulse to roll her eyes. Instead she waited for the light and followed it until she was unable. She was reasonably impressed with her ability to follow it, although she would loath to express it. This man, attractive as he was, irritated her as much as he attracted her.

When she finished James pulled the machine away and checked out the results writing in his notebook.
