Wake me up (prota?)

[Sugimoto Kuromori]

Sugar wakes up to the same room. Only this time the door is unlocked. There is a pile of folded clothes next to the door that she recognizes as her own. She quickly dons them and head out the door, pausing only to gaze around her new area.

“Where am I?”

[Sir Galahad]

A voice would come on over the intercom.

"Ah, Miss Kuromori. How are you doing today?"

[Sugimoto Kuromori]

Sugar smiles wryly to the air.

“Well, I am in an unknown place and have no memory of coming here willingly. However, there isn’t a cloth pressed to my face, so that’s good.”

She added a mental ‘for now’.

“Where am I? What is this place. How did I come to be here? And of course, who are you?”

She barely took time to breath before turning a corner and finding another door.

[Sir Galahad]

"This is a Hospital in Prota. Do you not remember?"

[Sugimoto Kuromori]

Sugar shook her head, tears stinging her eyes.

“All I remember is choosing to leave Cabal and then waking up in that damned bed. Twice.”

She took a deep breath and centered herself before continuing.

“You did not answer all the questions. I want all the answers.”

Sigimoto’s voice dropped dangerously. She glared around the hallway and stalked in the direction of the voice, throwing open the door infront of her. Her eyes began to turn red. The color seeping in slowly from the sides.

[Sir Galahad]

A Cleanly Dressed Man would be standing on the other side of the doors checking his pocket watch.

"My apologies."

He would say putting the watch back into his pocket and opening up his Notebook and would scribble a few notes.

"My name is James T. Wenifred. You may call me James. As for where you are, as stated this is a Protean Hospital, you are here because shortly after leaving Cabal you were approached by our agents and were offered to join us. You accepted. Here is were you underwent your reprogramming, a requirement for being a part of Prota. Though, I'm quite interested in the memory loss. It's not completely uncommon... but as you said, you have woken up in this hospital twice... your memories should have made their way back to you."

James would open his book and scribble a few more things before closing it and looking back up to Sugar.

"Apologies again, I am a doctor like yourself, and such things are quite fascinating. I will need to do more research. Anyways, where are my manners. By what name would you prefer to be referred to? And do you have any more questions?"

[Sugimoto Kuromori]

Sugimoto narrowed her eyes at the ‘doctor’ and his notepad. He dared speak to her in such a manner as if they were chums or mates.

“Sugimoto. You may call me Sugimoto.”

Her tone was dripping with malicious intent as she stared him down and took a step towards him.

“Why am I in a hospital? Was I injured? And if so, by whom?”

[Sir Galahad]

"Sugimoto it is then, and no. No one harmed you. As I stated previously, you came here voluntarily to receive your reprogramming treatment."

James stated matter-of-factly as he adjusted his monocle.

[Sugimoto Kuromori]

Sugar took a step back and blinked st the man. Her eyes regained their normal hugh and lost the red tinge that creeped in from the sides.

“You can call me Sugar. It’s what I usually go by.” She said offhandedly. “You say I came here for a reprogramming?” She took a deep breath, steadying herself. Then she looked at the man. Really looked at him. He was rather handsome. And he kept scribbling notes on his clipboard. Hmm. “what was my reprogramming for?”

[Sir Galahad]

James would look up from his notes.

"Hmmm. Strange. Well, it's a standard procedure. To make sure you aren't a spy. To make sure you won't betray us or our secrets. The usual."

[Sugimoto Kuromori]

Sugar nodded.

“I see. Is there a place I will be located? I trained for a while to be a nurse. Other than that....”

She let her sentence trail off thinking about her bad past.

“How far back do you have notes for me?”

Sugar’s gaze suddenly snapped from the clipboard to his face.

[Sir Galahad]

James would frown.

"I know you are Experiment 258, and that you were born here. Unfortunately, after that I don't have much notes on you. I had hoped to get more from you after you woke up... but with your faltering memory... Maybe it's best I get that information from you later. For now lets run some quick examinations. How are you feeling right now?"

[Sugimoto Kuromori]

Sugar shuddered at the memories from when she was there. It was a very dark time from her past, one she’d rather forget but wasn’t able to. Much like that of her moth— no. Her mind shied away from the memory. She couldn’t think of that. Not now. Not ever.

“Examinations. Yes. I suppose I am well. Obviously confused. But physically well.”

[Sir Galahad]

"That is good."

He would say scribbling down notes.

"Now, lets have you go change out of that hospital gown and get you into some attire fit for training. I will meet you outside when you are ready."

It was at this moment Sugar might realize that it did feel a bit breezy in her hospital gown that was open in the back...

Sugar blushed and nodded. She quickly moved to where he led and changed her clothes. After she would take a deep breath and nod at herself. Time to go.

Then, before she knew it, she was outside. Squinting up at the sun. Ugh. Daylight sucked.
