OOC: Keith's practicing with a Kendo stick. It's just a normal Kendo stick that's being used as an RP tool for this thread.
The move over to SoCal was making Keith a bit too "comfortable" for his own liking. It was time for Keith to get himself back into shape. He needed to rework his mental focus and concentration if he wanted to finish his last few weeks of school at 259 and graduate from one of those godforsaken schools.
The need to get back into fighting shape brought Keith into the middle of the park. It was gray and rainy outside, the perfect setting for someone like Keith to practice. The best way to gain his mental focus was to practice an art like Kendo which was why Keith was holding a Kendo stick in the first place.
The senior was dressed in a traditional Japanese hakama and top. Keith's hakama was crimson red, his top was black and white with all sorts of Japanese symbols designed on the back. He had on black gloves over his hands along with black wrist wraps over his forearms.
And Keith had on a blindfold over his eyes.
Taking deep breaths, Keith grasped the handles of his Kendo stick in his hands wielding it like a true samurai. Pivoting his upper body to the right, Keith would swing the Kendo stick to the right aiming at head level.
Keith would then swing the stick to the left while pivoting his upper body to the left at the same time. The trick was to be fluid and put your body into the motion of the Kendo stick. If it flows one direction, you flow that same direction. If you're resisting, you're not getting any work done.

Ran sucked. To be Frank it really did. Lilith had been out shopping earlier today and had decided to take a walk in the park. She and her brother had only just gotten used to the scenery here and she had not gotten a chance to walk through the park and enjoy the environment it provided. So with her shopping bags in hand she had begun her walk her happy pink umbrella over her left arm as she cruised through the pathways. But it had begun to rain on the young silver headed girl. And well as stated above, rain sucked. She was in the middle of the park and only in the middle of her expedition of exploration when it had begun to pour.
Opening her umbrella which could now be seen as a Hello Kitty umbrella the ever popular kitten with the bow on it's ear waving happily from the top of the now rain covered umbrella. As long as it didn't begin to lightning and thunder she would be alright. For Lilith was quite afraid of them both rain she could deal with but the others would have her seaking some sort of shelter and probably shaking to death. Dressed in hip huggers and a tank top her clothing fit her tightly but a denim jacket over her tank top hid some of her slight but curvy figure. She was in excellent shape but she wasn't a fighter, no she was a dancer and a singer and loved both equally.
Turning she had fully intended to head back to her car so she could drive herself home and be in the safety of not only her home but her brother's protection before the lightning and thunder started. But, on her way back something caught her eye. A boy out in the rain with no protection who was training .. in the rain. Her silver brows furrowed softly as her lavender eyes studied the blind folded boy that looked not too much older than herself. It was interesting that he was out here on such a dismal day doing things she figured were best done in the sun. Still she couldn't tear her eyes off of his movements and after all it wasn't storming yet merely raining. So moving under a tree (yes real smart) she leaned against the trunk under the shelter of the branches and her pink umbrella to watch the boy and his training curious as to what in the world he was doing and why on earth he was attempting to catch his death in the rain. That was actually a good question, she decided to voice it.
"Excuse me." she called out from under the tree watching the boy practice. "But might I inquire as to why you're out here trying to catch your death?"

"But might I inquire as to why you're out here trying to catch your death?"
Keith stopped as he heard a rhetorical question coming from a girl that seemed to be about his age. He wasn't out to catch his death in the rain. On the contrary, Keith felt more energized when it was raining. Rain meant life. When it rains down, the skies are bringing life to everything.
The Asian chucked a bit. With his calm English accent, he would calmly answer with, "rain doesn't bring death, miss. When it rains, it simply brings life... Most of the time it does as long as it's not torrential rain."
When training in such weather, Keith could feel more at peace with himself. It was like the feeling of serene tranquility that he had lost several months back.
"And what are you doing here in the rain?" Keith would inquire?

Lilith chuckled. At least he seemed to be good natured she knew some times you met people that were crude and rude when you interupted their training but this boy didn't seem to mind a bit. She liked his smile though it was nice came out just slightly when he chuckled. He told her about the rain and she grinned softly before she answered his own question.
"Well, I was out in the city and decided to walk through the park I just recently moved here and I thought it would be a nice walk. But then it started to rain and I was on my way home when you caught my eye." she chuckled softly with a smile.
Pushing herself off the tree she had been leaning against she came back out into the rain her umbrella sheilding herself and her shopping bags from the rain. She tilted her head to the side just slightly her silver hair fell over her shoulder like tinsel on a christmast tree.
"So, why do you train in the rain, much less blind folded. Wouldn't you be afraid to hurt yourself?" she asked curiously. He was starting to intrigue her she had never met anyone quite like him before.

Keith listened to the girl's story about how she had just moved to SoCal and decided to take a walk in the park. He especially listened to what he was doing caught her eye. Yeah, doing that type of stuff in the rain brings a person all sorts of attention.
Though Keith was suprised that nobody tried to jump him yet. Afterall, Keith was blindfolded.
"So, why do you train in the rain, much less blind folded. Wouldn't you be afraid to hurt yourself?"
"The rain energizes me. Let's put it at that. Blindfolded is one of the best methods. It forces you to implement your memorization skills, let alone require you to use your other senses."
Keith stretched his arms about a bit with the Kendo stick still in his hand.
"As for hurting myself, I'll be fine. But pain is part of the lesson. Pain is the best teacher, but not many people want to attend class."

Lilith raised her silver brow curiously as he began to explain that the rain rejuvinated him and that blind folded trained him better. This was all quite interesting she wondered silently if Warren used this kind of technique or even knew if it existed at all she was curious about many things. But she was probably bothering him he had come out here to train not to chat with some over curious girl and she hoped that he wouldn't mind so much but you could never be sure. He held out some sort of stick and she came close to him the rain hitting her umbrella over her head as she ran her fingers over the stick she wasn't taking it or even putting much weight on it she was merely touching it.
"Well, what kind of arts is this? I'm afraid I'm not too fammiliar with the different kinds there are so forgive my ignorance I'm just curious." she said with a soft smile.
She was standing right in front of him now having moved up into his zone but if he gave her any sort of clue that he wanted to be left alone she wouldn't not hesitate to move out of the way. But so far he didn't seem to mind her curiosity nor her interupting of his training. He used pain as a teacher and it was interesting she had never thought about using it in that way.
"And.. I'm Lilith by the way. Or Lily if you want, either will get me to answer." she chuckled softly looking up at him with her lavender eyes wondering just what he looked like without the blind fold.

Unless you practiced martial arts, chances are you won't know what Kendo is. It's pretty understandable. Keith would probably have to take the time and explain to the girl what Kendo meant. It was pretty simple, like Western Fencing. But it's Japanese Fencing but with bamboo swords.
"And.. I'm Lilith by the way. Or Lily if you want, either will get me to answer."
Keith nodded, "pleasure... Name's Keith Lucifer," he answered. He would then contiue with his explanation of the style he was practicing.
"This is the art of Kendo. A watered down version of Kenjutsu, the Japanese version of Fencing. Unlike Kenjutsu, Kendo uses bamboo swords like the one I have in my hand," he explained to the girl.
Didn't hurt to make a bit of conversation. Afterall, the rain was pretty peaceful and lively.

"so it's swordplay. That's interesting." she said honestly as her hand moved from the bamboo stick he called a sword.
His name was Keith, and average name but his last name made her smile it was quite interesting. He was interesting it seemed and that made her only want to talk to him even more but, he was training and she was probably driving him nuts. She bit her lower lip for a moment not sure what else to talk about with his training. She looked at him from underneath her umbrella and she smiled softly he seemed nice.
"Well, if you don't mind, I'd like to watch. I shouldn't bother you anyway but I was curious about you and your work out here in the rain." she said softly with a smile. "I'll be under the tree. when you're done, maybe we could do something." she said.
Turning around she headed back to the tree and leaned against it like she had done before and would watch him work out until he was done. She wanted to see what his work out looked like and perhaps get to know him better if he had time later.

CRACCKKK..
That, my friends, would be the sound of Keith's spare bamboo stick hitting against his. Mitsuki would join in on his "training" just for the heck of it. She noticed the female, and didn't want to inturrupt, however, the fact that there was a stick lying on the ground, it was all too much to ignore.
"..mm, it's Mitsuki."
Keith was in one of her classes, so it was blatantly obvious that she knew him. Another "connection", you could say, would be the spar, where she was in some kind of a choke for a decent amount of time, and he knocked her out. It would be an understatement if she said he was excelled in the martial arts, so it was no surprise to find him training in the rain with a blindfold on. In fact, Mitsuki wouldn't be surprised if there was a tightrope somewhere to sharpen his center of balance.
Although the two barely knew eachother, and really never spoke, she hoped he'd get the idea that she wanted to try this out, considering the fact that Mitsuki only had basic knowledge in Kendo.

"..mm, it's Mitsuki."
Mitsuki, eh?
Keith definitely remembered Mitsuki, she's the current School Captain of PHS #259. She was the second person that Keith had fought during his first few days at the school. The first one was one of Asiv's SHCPs, a psychotic German named Thrush. Keith got the name from Asiv not long ago.
The girl named Lilith would be under the tree watching. That was cool with Keith. It seemed that Keith would be engaged in a Kendo match with Mitsuki. This should be pretty interesting. Been a long damn while since Keith has engaged in a Kendo match.
Last time he and Mitsuki clashed, he left her unconscious via a rear-choke with body scissors that cut off her oxygen supply.
However, it was tame compared to what he did to Thrush. Keith could recall when Thrush tried to sexually assault him on the school grounds during his first day. But Keith made Thrush by dislocating one of the shoulders. To add to the insult, Keith smashed Thrush's face into a puddle of his own seed.
Keith would keep the blindfold on and breathe calmly. This match would be different from their last match.
"It's been awhile since we last tangoed..." Keith calmly said to Mitsuki.
"En garde..."

Another girl suddenly showed up. Lilith's brows rose softly as she saw the girl was intending to fight Keith. Not that she didn't think the girl named Mitsuki could do it. In fact she had seen girls that were far better at kicking butt than boys she had just been concentrating so much on Keith she had not even seen the girl come up. Lilith leaned against the tree she had nothing else to do and if it went on too long she could always go home she didn't have to stay but she was curious about how all of this was going to work and how you fought someone with Kendo having never seen it before. She stayed quiet they were already fighting and she didn't want to get in the way or make someone miss because she was too eager for conversation so she would just wait it out and watch.

OOC: Apologies for the delay. x_____o;
"It's been awhile since we last tangoed..."
Patiently, she stood still before standing straight up and moving back a bit. She held the stick in front of her properly, her right hand above her left, her feet spread apart shoulder width. She understood that Keith had a better knowledge of her in the art of Kendo, but one learns from their mistakes. Although Keith may have not known the point of Mitsuki "challenging" him to this, Mitsuki had a reason: To learn as many different styles as she can. Teacher (Valekin) can only teach her so much; her brother the same. To be captain of a ruthless school, she still had quite a bit of learning to do, and especially since they appointed her captain at such a young age.
"En garde..."
Such a fancy language.
Kendo stick towards his right shoulder - to her, it would be the one on the left, since he's standing across from her. Nothing fancy; actually quite simple. Possibly a fake?[/color]

Keith remained calm and casual while engaging in a Kendo match with Mitsuki. To use a sword or a Kendo stick, one must be calm. The reckless and the impulsive have no business wielding a Kendo stick let alone a sword. Swords were just mere extensions of the warrior.
The sword didn't make the fighter, the fighter made the fighter. For this fight, Keith would remain blindfolded. It was a test of discipline. In a fight like this, Keith would depend on his other senses. Keep in mind that your eyes tend to deceive you. With your eyes, depth perception can tend to mess people up.
Obi-Wan Kenobi told Luke Skywalker that the eyes tend to deceive and would have to use the force. Keith would be using the "force" for this match against Mitsuki.
Seemed that Mitsuki would initiate the first attack by swinging her stick towards his right shoulder. As Mitsuki swung it downwards, Keith would gracefully step back one step.
At the same time, would do a double-handed swing towards his right-side. To Mitsuki it would be to her left. The result should be a deflection of Mitsuki's attack by smacking her stick to the side a slight bit.
Should that be the case, Keith would quickly bring it downwards and smack Mitsuki on top of the forehead. He would be calm and collected about it.

OOC: Is this based on statistics or by role-play?
And her stick would slide underneath his so that he would be unable to bring it down why twisting her wrists to the right from a vertical to a horizontal position.
It was hard to determine who had the upper hand. For one, Keith probably knew a whole lot about Kendo, while Mitsuki didn't. Yet, he had on a blindfold which would test out his other senses. Mitsuki, not sure of how his other senses are developed, was unsure of which tactic to take.
