He tried to focus on the feeling of fear and project the sensation of questioning. Or lack of understanding.

In return he was sent a feeling of distrust and lack of understanding.

He tried to project the feeling of their connection. Both physical and metaphysical.

He would get what would feel like the emotional equivalent of a shrug of indifference.

He took a deep breath and just focused on his desire to understand.

He was met with a solid wall of denial. What he was asking was too much for the crystal to accept.

There would be a momentary pause before the crystal shared... a memory? Or a vision of some sort, it showed the crystal as it was. But then Preston would hear his own voice saying a word, "Virkja!" the crystal would then begin to glow and radiate with power. Then the memory/vision would fade.

Preston closed his eyes and brought forth a memory of his childhood. Sitting and being examined, sick and frail. A stone keeping his blood moving through his body while a life mage worked on his frail and failing heart.

The crystal didn't just witness this memory, it felt the memory. Immediately Preston would feel the crystal's remorse for his childhood. But the crystal did warm up to him. However he could feel the crystal was needing to rest. It had used a lot of it's power to share the memories. It was time for it to rest.


Preston achieves +1 Bond to the crystal! (Important to me, not necessarily you right now but you are free to keep track for yourself if you would like)

Preston Learned how to Activate the Crystal! By saying the activation word "Virkja!" Preston is able to acivate the crystal. It gives him +5 Eng for 5 posts! (Can be used multiple times a thread, but it damages the crystal and Preston the more times it is used, the activation's do not stack)

Preston remained present for a little while after the Crystal retreated before ending his meditation so that he could attend to his tasks.
