True to his word the next morning at Dawn Mathew stood before the gates of Liam's settlement, arms folded over his chest as he waited to see what these soldiers were made of, and just how many he had to work with.

Evelyn was used to getting up before dawn at this point, luxury that it used to be. She was half expecting to get involved with the training at some point, but since she'd been involved this far with seeing how the family business went and decided to stay, she decided to see the next step of it.

She was curious to see what the villagers would be like, what they'd know.

There would be 75 Men standing at the gate. All armed and armored far better than the men that had greeted them the day before. They were all in formation and had perfect posture. These men had seen war. It was obvious that the town guards were just the left overs who's only job was to throw up a shield until the real fighters could come in. These men would hold at attention until Mathew said otherwise. Liam too was out there to see what exactly this God of War had in mind. M was mysteriously not present.

"It's come to my attention that no one here knows who I am or what I can do. Other than your leader getting a bit of a taste. So I think the best way to start off is to give you a first look. Which one of you think you have what it takes to take me down and knock me down a peg? This right here is your chance."

He motioned for any challenger to step forward.

[Evelyn Amtrum]

It was and wasn't weird that M wasn't around, though Eve was looking over those there to see if she would be. Liam was, but perhaps his second in command was tending to the village while the chief was away. She seemed less willing to take training if she coudln't push past her all.

She waited for any challenger to step forward, intrested in seeing what the soldiers could offer!

[Sir Galahad]

No one would step forward, they stayed at attention. They had all witnessed the fight yesterday, and the fact that this man not only was still standing but wasn't wounded... That was enough for them to realize he was the real deal. One Soldier would step forward, Obviously the head Platoon Leader.

"Sir, we have no questions of your strength. We witnessed your fight with our Lord and saw that you hold power on the same level as him. We respect the authority that you earned from our Lord."

Then he would step back into the formation.

He clicked his tongue, making no effort to hide his disappointment.

"Well, in that case, we will start with the basics. I want to see if even one of you can climb this wall."

He'd bring a foot up and slam it into the ground, the Earth in front of him would rise, a stone wall at least six stories high would rise up from the ground, wide enough for a few men to climb up at the same time. Mathew would lean against the wall and motion for them to start.

"I trust your men are capable of this at least."

Geokinetic Levitation - Mathew is able to telekinetically move and levitate stone and metal objects. (+12 to attacks when combined with an attack)

That was unexpected. Apparently Chief Liam's word had spread quickly, only one man stepping forward with respect before disappearing into the line of unknown faces again. Disciplined and far from the boisterous lot they'd met at the gates.

She glanced from the cliff after it finished rising into the sky to Mathew, curious but not about to say anything. Just wondering if this mean what she thought it would.

"Hmm." She eyed the soldiers in speculation, but didn't do anything to deter them. She wanted to see what they could do on their own, too. Even if she had ideas.

A few men would step out of formation and begin climbing the wall!

Mathew would smash his hand into the wall, spikes shooting out in an attempt to impale their hands!

Level 1: Stone Strike - Mathew hits the ground and the shockwave sends out small pillars or projectiles of stone at his foe. 1/4th energy stat added to his attack. (Mutation: the stone projectiles are now covered in hardened Qi for additional damage! +18 for Damage Calculations)

For now, Evelyn was letting Mathew pick the severity and pace of his training. As spikes began to shoot out of the wall, she added a few platforms scattered about while the soldier climbed, and likely fell.

Only once in a while was one was real, however. The others seemed solid until they stepped or fell on them, or used them to climb. Some, she would let one person touch and be safe, only to let it turn transparent the next time someone came close.

Upgraded Zero Ability: Evelyn's visor now allows her to add 100% her perception to defense and 100% her speed to attack.

Three of the five men would get their hands impaled but the others were quick on the maneuverability, however only one of them wouldn't be able to recover and hit the ground. Our of the 4 remaining, they now knew that there were tricks to be had and only one was lost due to Evelyn's addition. The next batch of soldiers start going up!

"I should also note that should not a single one of you make it to the top, then there will be a steep price to pay."

He'd slam another fist into the wall to cause more spikes to shoot out, this time aiming for legs.

Evelyn was just glad that her father's spikes weren't atimed at her this time. She mentally cringed and focused on those whose legs woudl be impaled. Those hit who looked down would find their hands would be bound to the cliff face wall!

Ability #2: Taking the form of her weapon of choice, Evelyn’s construct allows her to add 3/4 of her energy to her attack. (Mutation: Evelyn can now use the earth to enhance the damage her constructs do! +18 to Damage calculations)

The soldiers were now showing there mettle as only 3 of the previously injured men were caught be the new attack. They would struggle to release themselves as the next group of 5 started at the wall!
