The soldiers found a new found resistance and kept pushing as another five joined the wall!

"This brings me back to my youth, I used to fight a lot when I was a teenager. Some of the kids I fought were only a little more skilled than you guys. At least from what I've seen so far, but you might not have as much endurance as they did."

He'd say bending down, picking up a rock before flicking it at the hand of the leading soldier to try and knock him down into the ones below him.

Sniper Shot: Mathew can take a small rock and launch it at anything he can see doing 150% his energy in damage. Can only be used once.

Story time, yay! Eve throws one of her earth daggers at the cliff nearby, exploding the area it landed in and any of the soldiers in the blast radius!

And fires a series of blades at another!

Qi Mutation: Smite - Evelyn is able to further charge her inner strength and unleash it through her constructs. Shaped like blades, they hurl themselves at the enemy for a single strike. 1/2 her ENG is added to SPD and ENG, doing her full ENG in damage.

The lead soldier would turn raising his left arm which would flash and Mathew's projectile would be sent upward at an angle over the wall. The rest of the men would call out as one and the whole mass of the group would suddenly flash at the same time as Evelyn's blades exploded. When the smoke cleared it would see that the men had each activated their personal shields and used them to link with each other, forming a giant field around them! It would fade shortly there after as another 5 joined the climb.

He'd shift his arms and the sides of the wall would start to close inward so that the whole wall would attempt to wrap around those climbing it.

Well, looks like it was time to up things a little. Eve's visor would form as she looked over the cliff that looked like it was going to start devouring people.

One of the soldiers would feel like their hands were gripping a porcupine as a small spiked mace's head formed beneath their hands as it climbed, spikes going into their skin!

No men would join the wall instead all the soldiers on the ground would reach out activating their devices. The wall would be encased in a shield that the men on the wall could now climb safely and easily. They get faster!

2/3 up the wall.

A clever solution. But a trick he'd seen before. Pulling out his mace turned gun he'd fire a stone spike at the shield wall to destroy it, just as he had the one around their city before.

Cheater, cheater, falling to the ground. Eve takes a moment to fire a beam off her band at one of the falling soldiers!

Misc: Beam Emitter (+5 Eng): A ring capable of emitting a beam that does her energy in damage up to four times a thread. If reflected off or passed through a metallic object the beam adds her energy stat to damage calculations.

Planning for this the Soldiers cast up a secondary shield to hit the bullet braking a useless shield, Evelyn's bolt would hit the shield wall, it would glow brighter

"Overcoming your weakness with teamwork. Noble. But victory is rarely so straightforward. It has a habit of threatening to move just beyond your grasp."

He'd say as the wall began to grow once more, the gun shifting to the form of the mace once more as he marched toward the men on the ground. Every step raising the wall higher and higher.

Eve takes a moment to consider the shield, eyes narrowing as her beam seems to add to it. her gut said not to try and eat it, even if the mace broke it. Not yet, anyway.

That, and she's not going to interrupt the dramatic training moment.

The soldiers didn't waver as they continued to climb, almost reaching the top!

"And when that support fails you need to be able to count on yourself."

He built up his energy as he approached the men on the ground before unleashing it, his power rippling through the Earth which would almost freeze for a second before unleashing all at once at the men on the ground powering the shield wall. Time to give their formation a test.

Oblivions Shadow Mask: +6 Eng

The Oblivions Shadow Mask can give +10 to a chosen stat at any point it is decided. The +10 can also be moved at will if needed (energy)

Seismic Strike! - Mathew is able to take on the body of the earth, controlling all the vibrations around him and putting them into his attacks. This causes everything within a 20ft radius of him to lose all kinetic movement, needing more Speed than Mathew's energy to be able to not be stopped completely. Mathew can then strike forward causing a massive wave of seismokinetic energy in any direction his attack goes once per thread. This does Mathew's energy in dmg, plus all targets within 20 ft's speed in damage.

Gift of the Earth: Allows Mathew to increase a chosen stat of his target by 1/2th his energy. This is still an Earth Based Qi (energy)
