She is Illogical (Dime/Open)

[Jericho]

Jericho walked out of the blood mansion, seeking out Dime as she walked away. The meeting had reached a conclusion, and seeing Celia take the seat of Rai reminded him of what he needed to inform Dime with.

He increased his speed until he was right beside her, and then slowed to her pace. That is when he spoke: "This woman Celia is not the leader 235 needs. It is illogical to have her as a ruler. Until Rai comes back, the territory needs a ruler that knows the territory well, and knows violence and blood well. A leader for this territory needs to not only know violence, but to use it, because that is the most logical way to communicate to the citizens of the territory, because that is what they know. This frail, peaceful girl does not know what she is doing. After analyzing this situation several times, I have come to the conclusion that it is more advantageous to us if one of us ruled, or if a leader that ruled like us held the position. The girl, however, is not beneficial for the territory, us, or the citizens. She would be an efficient and rational leader for a territory of gardeners, or farmers, or aristocrats, or pacifists, or animal caretakers..." 

It all sounded the same, but was all equally important. The longer she waited to respond, the more examples he would list of peaceful territories she would be an efficient ruler of.

[Dime Price]

"... Or parents, or children, or old and sick..." she would interrupt him with a few examples of her own to lead into a point of her own. "Jericho... I agree with you one some points. She might be a leader in a fashion... However. Raikotsu is not coming back so yes... We need to find another leader. We have people to protect with or without Raikotsu and so far as long as she doesn't intent to see them come to harm or left to starve we have time and a task at hand before we figure out who that leader will be. The last thing we nees is for her to call down Zekumft to subjigate and lock us down before we have a chance to turn the tables."

[Jericho]

"Hm," he replied, considering all that she had said. She clearly did not have faith in her king, but it was understandable. Most humans' life ended once they were killed. However, logically he had returned before, he could once more. But it was not his task at hand to convince her of this. She was very human, and might argue the logic because of her emotions.

"Who do you think will be the next leader?"

[Dime Price]

"Raikotsu left us his options of a successor. If he had any offspring I'll not know, so I'll be assumptive here and think he left it to us... Except he wrote it in Dragon!" her frustration was evident. "If that was to toy with us or to protect its contents I am unsure... However I am willing to follow him to the afterlife and back to get the truth. I am only stopped if She sees that list of names and would just toss them away because they do not meet her standards. If it were you then I would be content... If it were Ramses I would be content... If it were even me..." she paused a lot longer unsure of if she would be content if she was the best choice. "Or anyone else who had the very best interest in mind for our people then... Yes, I would be content. The fact is Raikotsu came back and helped us pave our way... And now he is gone once more we have not more in our writings, stories, or beliefs for him to keep coming back just to leave a job half finished once more. To shake our very home into chaos for us to keep fixing is not our way. The cycle ends now."

She never thought to be the leader of this place. She was hardly what could be called a leader of her faction. Honestly, she wasnt. She had only answered to others and only followed the trail of blood that was Raikotsu's legacy. When it comes down to it she was more of a general in the civil war and of the blood territory. If she were the best option Cecilia chose she would assume responsibility. She would take up the mantle and do her best. She knew she wouldn't shy away from the daunting task if it meant that she finally had the chance to make her home the way she remembered it before its down fall.

[Jericho]

Jericho's persistent analysis slowed after her words. Was this relief?

"I agree with you. I will learn dragon language so I can read that note, Dime."

[Dime Price]

"Do also make sure you keep watch over our suspects as well friend. If memory serves, anyone in the old Dragon core or a Dragon itself knows Dragon language still most are unsure where to even find these people if they are not dead." she gave a thought as to remember who they can find. "You can try finding word in Cabal about their wear abouts. Earth Dragon is alive, he is Ares so God territory might know his where abouts, I think there might be an apprentice waltzing about speaking dragon if I heard a rumor or two right... Other than that I am unsure Of where else you might start."

[Jericho]

"That is where I will start then. I thank you for your aid. And that you are my friend."

It was clear to anyone that these words were rather forced, but he was aware that Dime appreciated what people would consider kindness, so he allowed himself to say the words for her.

[Dime Price]

She gave her own chest a light pat over her heart. "Always will be comrade, good luck to you."

[Jericho]

"Luck is illogical Dime. You are aware of this." Jericho reminded her before giving a final, "Goodbye," and taking his leave.

[Dime Price]

She grinned and shook her head. She would let him leave without saying another word.
