The Third (Mini Event)

[Zack Asiv]

John would look at Rhona would an arched eye brow.

"Rhona, huh? Well alright. If you can fight we are about to push into an area suspected to hold an idea to how Barker did this."

John would down the can draining it quickly before his muscle mass doubled. Veins bulging in multiple spots as he seethed out a breath with smoke. He would start walking and the other people with ballistics masks on their faces would follow.

Drake would charge and his blood spikes would come up short as the Stone Dragon snatched him up. Drake had made it far enough to see the man who had run before. He was obviously too slow to get away.

"ANNAAAAAAA!!!"

He yells as he is pounced on.

Evelyn can see a road leading away, and there don't seem to be any threats there. Eve and Mathew can hear the little crushed girl cough some more. Evelyn can see there are normal people down their escape route. It's more of the same scene, just random people caught in the destruction. Trying to dig out survivors and figure out what was happening.

"Daddy... I can't see you."

Elias can see a large piece of rebar sticking out of some cement. The experiments are right on top of him, the one up front has glowing hands ready to swipe at Elias!

Soni leaps for her headphones, but by the time she reaches them they are stepped on by a hospital shoe wearing experiment sniffing as it looks down at her. It seems confused.

[Drake]

Drake would get picked up but he would struggle yelling out.

"Don't save me, save the Girl! The Girl!!!"

He screamed as he watched the father get attacked. Tears would begin to form in his eyes...

[Soni Vox]

Soni looks up, seeing the monster. She didnt have time to be scared. Without thought, an uncontrolled wild blast shot towards him, hopefully with enough success to have the time to take the headphone pieces and put them in her pocket.

Sonic blast: Capable of bursting eardrums, throwing opponents, and doing significant damage to internal organs by matching their frequency. "Sounds fine to me." he didn't know who she was and she wasn't going to waste time lecturing about the brimstone. Something was strange for sure and she was not going to think about it until she had to. She slammed a fist into her palm and was ready. "Lead the way."

[Mathew Amtrum]

The Dragon would bring Drake back, dropping him in front of Mathew, who would reach out to lift him up by the shirt so that they were looking eye to eye.

"The girl lived or died over twenty years ago. You need to stop acting like your Father for a moment and think about what the hell you are seeing and what is happening. Not every problem will be solved by you letting your first emotional response rule you."

[Thorn Wyatt]

Elias backpedals, looking to create just enough distance to grab the rebar and swing the entire thing upwards like an uppercut at the experiment in front, aiming to catch it right in the chin.

If he can't use his Qi without becoming exhausted, then he needs to be resourceful, like his early days in Dirt.

[Stigma Wyatt]

Luckily in Rose's case, she doesn't need to use her Qi to use one of her swords, which she quickly pulls out.

She dashes towards Elias and the two experiments, swinging down on the one further behind!

[Evelyn Amtrum]

Eve shuddered at the man's shout, assuming the name on his lips was the little girl's. It felt like ice between her ribs as she looked to the road that could lead to freedom, a chance to look away from the gruesome death that was happening as the little girl cried out and coughed.  There was so much death and destruction everywhere. even talking to the girl, if she survived, could change things.

"Over here." She pointed out the road with no immediate signs of danger to Mathew and Drake, stepping away so the girl wasn't in her line of sight anymore. Hope or not, if the girl died, it was likely to be slow and alone.

The sooner they could get away from here, the sooner her chest could stop hurting. 

[Drake]

Drake would go silent for a moment after Mathews words. Just hanging in Mathews grasp... then he would seem to come back to life as he slapped Mathews hand away.

"I am not my father."

He would say in disgust.

"I don't even care about that girl, Anna, I was just doing what I thought was my duty as an agent of Cabal. Now back off."

He would say turning away from Mathew. But for now he wouldn't rush off as much he wanted to. He would actually do what Mathew said and survey the situation.

[Zack Asiv]

The Destroyer would begin making his way towards Evelyn, Mathew and Drake before an explosion of gore as the top part of it's head was ripped off so suddenly and cleanly the Destroyer didn't even know and took three extra steps before falling down. Behind him would be a soldier looking guy removing his sun glasses, watching the trio as they make their way down the road. Patience.

Soni's headphones were not broken, just being pinned to the ground by the experiments foot, however as the sound blast is fired wildly it catches the experiment on the shoulder causing it to stumble backwards, show apparent on it's face before it's brow scrunches inward and it's eyes widen. Another experiment comes up with him, both hunch over slightly swaying side to side as they tilt their heads examining Soni. Smelling and sniffing. Soni would hear words in her mind.

"What designation are you? Who made you?"

Elias is able to back peddle enough to get his uppercut in, splitting the Experiment's jaw with the rebar as blood, bone, and teeth fly. The experiment hits the ground gripping its face and curling into a ball as it fumbles with it's jaw and trying to put it back in place. The other two are right on top of Elias. one on his left would reach out to grab Elias's arms and the one on the right leaping at him to dig it's teeth into his shoulder! However the one lunging to bite Elias is chopped by Rose's sword of justice!

John would lead Rhona forward as they reached a building. Bunch of guys walking around in black combat shirts, body armor, melee weapons, and hats. John would have his guys fan out and get to ambush locations having Rhona go with him. John would put his ballistic's mask on as he peered around a corner. Turning back to Rhona.

"Alright so... These are Ex-Enforcers from the Correctional Facilities. Don't under estimate them, they are trained paramilitary dudes bought off by Barker. If they are here in force this is an important area. If we take it we can get a decent front for the Guardians and Asiv to fight back... You ready?"

"For what~ Are we playing a game?"

A voice asks from above them excitedly.

[Mathew Amtrum]

Mathew kept an eye on the Destroyer as to make sure it didn't come at them, and when he saw who killed it his expression turned to Stone. Without a word he'd start marching toward the soldier, his hand moving to the mace on his hip.

[Rhona Hall]

Rhona understood and was about to give a vocal confirmation when she heard the other voice and would look up

[Evelyn Amtrum]

Evelyn was focused on the escape route,knowing they needed to move quickly. She looked over her shoulder when she saw her father heading the other direction, worried and frustrated, her eyes widening in fear before her expression hardened.

"Go ahead. I'll make sure the way stays clear," she says flatly to Drake.

Elias, in full scrapping fashion, turns to swing his foot up into the thing's crotch, before suddenly aiming to headbutt it in the face.

He's aiming to knock it back so he can use his weapon more effectively!

Rose would spin and slice down at the one trying to put back its jaw!
