Well, it felt good to know something hit, but the scorched flesh was also a concern that was growing aggravating the more they fought.

"Then what changed?" She'd twist and duck, coming up behind him to strike at him with her blade, now infused with a fire attack. "You normally rip through things by now."

With the crystal gone the blade would stab through Blake's chest, searing the wound as it did so thanks to her fire enhancement. He let out a pained sound as he flipped the scythe back to try and hook it into her shoulder!

What the actual - WHY WAS SHE STILL LOSING SO BADLY?!
"When the hell did that happen?" she demanded sharply, hissing as the scythe bit into her shoulder and kept her close. She slammed her knee into his back and brought the pommel of her blade against the back of his head as she hissed, "Kek," under her breath, trying to stun him long enough to get free.
That explained a lot. And made her uncomfortable. A lot. But not enough to stop the fight. Not if he could suddenly swap places with her.

When she kneed him he'd jerk forward, the scythe digging into her shoulder deeper. The blow to the head flashed darkness across his eyes briefly as his world spun, the Scythe vanishing for a moment as he stumbled forward. catching himself with one of the swords stuck into the ground. Ripping it out of the ground he'd spin to face her, matting his hair on the back of his head, but he was still standing.
"You're holding back."

A price worth paying, then, by his standards. Ali's expression shifted to one of understanding, even if she internally shuddered at the thought of doing so herself.
But was she? It was hard to gauge. Her fight against Malice had been short lived, but escalated quickly. Blake was steady, instinctive.
"No, I'm not." She frowned, feeling herself pulled forward before the scythe dispersed, no longer digging further in her shoulder. She just had no intention of brawling all the way out until that shield wore off.
"Raztal!" The chain would form around Blake's ankle if she could, yanking it back to knock of his balance as lightning shot through the chain again.

He would stab his sword into the chain as soon as it wrapped around his leg shattering it with his blade before he'd rush at with all of his speed, shifting to strike with the flat side of the blade as he went to slam his blade into her torso and send her flying back with his sun technique.

Blake: Sun & Moon - Blake has discovered a new sword technique, By channeling the fury and hatred of the sun, along with the monstrous power he naturally possesses the blade can either explode in a ray of solar energy at any time the wielder chooses to cause a knockback effect (Can propel wielder if allowed), doing Blake's total energy in damage, or can feed off a festering opponent adding the damage done by the infection to the blades damage calculations up to Blake's full energy
Gamble Fruit ability: Anytime Blake can enter a Blitz mode, which adds up to +25 his Spd stat in momentum damage once per thread.

Faster than a blur, Ali couldn't keep up with his movements to block it, her wings forming a protective shield around her on instinct as his blade slammed into her, breaking the shield they formed as she went flying back. The mage was sent soaring into the nearest tree, bark splintering under her from impact as she fell to the ground. Everything spun and shadows crept into her vision she coughed, pushing herself up no more than an inch before falling back to the ground and the world went dark.
She had a long way to go.

Blake:
Stance of the Dragon Slayer: Once per thread Blake can stop fighting and sheath all but one of his swords. In that instance he can channel all the knowledge and experience of the Dragons as well as his own all into the edge of his blade. The next attack from his sword deals and ADDITIONAL 150% of Blake's Eng.
Ali:
En Garde!: Ali can now enter a stance of a complete focus with her Rapier! She can stay in this mode as long as she stay's level headed and doesn't use ANY Qi abilities! The moment she uses Qi or gets upset, she immediately falters for a post and become vulnerable for a counter attack! While in En Garde! She gains +15% Eng to Atk per post that she is in this mode!
