The Fourth (Mini Event)

[Onides Une]

Oni would think if this was the creation of Dra Aht... She could be seen mathing the years in her head and Mathew made a good point for sure. She would conclude the logic made sense. He practically took the words from her mouth so she had no reason to think she needed to talk this round.

[Soni Vox]

Soni would jump a bit at the explosion, but would compose herself quickly as she payed close attention to the situation.

[Zack Asiv]

Mathew would only feel a trickle of the amount of War he should be feeling.

Elias suddenly feels on the verge of collapsing from the toll of attempting to take in that much at one time.

Strike would shrug.

"Two fairly good questions asked, I believe should be addressed in turn. Which side indeed? One side battles for the new world and it's freedoms, to be left alone and find a new stability with peace. The other fights to finish what they started, to stand above all others are the rulers of the world and establish themselves at the top. Which one appeals to you more?"

Strike would then look at Mathew.

"Does it matter who I am? You are here now. Isn't that the usual philosophy? No matter the enemy, or situation you always come out on top, right?"

[Onides Une]

"You cant say that to him and act like that speaks for the rest of us. If you'd be so kind as to not dodge the question and tell us who you are. I for one don't like fighting nor do I care to rule over others. If I fight it certainly wont be as mercenary as because a fight is happening before my eyes." she did make a promise to her self not to get into any business that isn't her own of she could help it. But more importantly she wanted the truth.

[Drake]

"Knowledge is power."

Drake would say in response to the mans answer for Mathew.

"The question is to understand, to learn."

He would then smirk.

"And with you being so dodgy with the answer that means it must be an important bit of information."

[Evelyn Amtrum]

Eve folded her arms over her chest at the mention of a choice and, more importantly, the dodged question.

“It sounds like this choice is part of why we’re here. I’m curious to know who wants to see our choices.” And knew them. Which still bugged her a bit but she wasn’t interested in dwelling on it too much just now.

“Besides, this war is in the past. We know how it plays out, no matter what we choose.”

[Mathew Amtrum]

"I do, and I did. I've fought this war and won. My choice was made decades ago. The new thing to overcome is the one that keeps haunting me. Friends and rivals from high school. The old Earth Dragon. The man who murdered my family, and now my final battle. This all feels rather personal, and since we are not fully, or really here. I do not think it is Barker and his experiments that I need to overcome."

He took a step closer to the man calling himself Strike.

"Besides, Strike was never an ally of mine."

In any way, shape, or form.

[Thorn Wyatt]

"Whew."

Elias hunches over, hands on his knees as he tries to steady himself.

"...that's... quite a feast."

[Stigma Wyatt]

Rose doesn't say anything, mostly because she doesn't really get what's going on right now. As usual. She also doesn't want to be the first one to blurt out her answer when everyone's being so cautious.

[Soni Vox]

Soni gives Oni a slightly impressed look for her bravery in speaking out, but also an expression of surprise for her showing she knew what was going on.

The masked girl, however, still knew only a couple of these people, and nothing of the event itself. She would continue in silence, but her guard was slowly being raised as the guy was becoming increasingly suspicious.

[Zack Asiv]

Strike would turn his head to Oni and nod.

"You are right, but they were the only ones to address me directly, so I responded, now that you have a real question to me."

He would wait a moment as everyone seemed to pipe up except a few now.

"Of that you are actually wrong this time, Mathew. As you are now is different from as you were then, it has been years since the blood and the rain. Things have changed, you have changed. Your choices would change. Of course your allies likely wouldn't change, so too your enemies remain."

This time he would look to the others who asked for a blatant who are you, as opposed to Mathew's bare curiosity simply because he doesn't like being used without trade, or manipulated in any way. The God of War prepared to bring war to him at the drop of a hat.

"I have told you however. I am John Strike, but I am your times John Strike. This is my real Qi and the only way I can use it. I've noticed in Dra Aht, or Cousta Bojer... Any strong Qi scar really I am capable to greater looks into past events, however it has a nasty side effect of distorting Time as minor or temporary Qi scar's in it's own right."

Strike would scratch at his brow.

"I however can not interact with the past I see, I suspected the same of all of you, but when things were... Manipulated in the previous jump to the past by you all, I had to see what choices you would make with this power. I now feel it. There is something else controlling events and the things I see. I know why and were I go and what I see... I do not know why you all end up here, or there, or are allowed to interact with things when I am not."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"Mmm."

Interesting, but if his interactions with the Beast hadn't made his family less dead, then he wondered what acting could do. But if he were to come here again and make a different choice, or rather the same choice but tip the scales. What would he do? And he thought back to the Axe from before, and of allies lost. This battle was already won, and enemies would be slain. But if something else was picking them and allowing them to interact, there had to be a reason.

"Then I guess I'll see if I can bait whatever it is to come at me."

By saving The Minotaur first.

And so Mathew would go to the wall to punch it out, glancing back to Eve.

"It should be safe here, should you choose to not follow."

He'd jump out of the building to try and get to the facility before it started to really rumble

[Drake]

Drake folded his arms.

"So, why exactly should we go meddle with time for you? I see no point in helping either side of this battle. It's fate has already been decided. So, in what way would it benefit us to interfere? What are you hoping to gain by manipulating us into doing so?"

He would ask. Annoyed that the large hypocrite was at it again, most likely with his ignorant daughter in tow. Let them be pawns if that is what they wanted to be.

[Onides Une]

"Oh jeez..." So yeah the real John Strike, of all the people she wanted to remain off the radar for it was that guy. Suppose she knew that was impossible but even if this was a random pick she didn't care for this situation. Being faced with this choice. If this altered time in any way, she was on the boat of not changing anything about what had already happened. Something so far in the past could undo so much. Risking that much gravity to think anything can be fixed was just... she couldn't comprehend it.

Oni would go to the wall after he jumped out and would just stare agape. It was a tremendous thing as he was threatening to undo time in any form or fashion. She just felt the weight of that and honestly... she froze a bit.

"I have no idea if my family would be down there... I honestly don't have a horse in this race if they are not. Even if they are, this is not something I am comfortable changing if the cost is too great." But if they were down there...? What if not helping them caused her future to change too? she had the thought... But she shook her head. It was an explanation of her thought process but not yet was a decision being made.

[Thorn Wyatt]

"Staying here doesn't teach us anything."

Elias says, more to Rose than anybody else. He doesn't care if they stay or not.

"Even if we were to not pick a side, we should at least take in what's going on."

And so, Elias would head out, aiming to get closer to the battle itself.
