He would toss her the ball.

"You never said I could work with it, but I figured a demonstration of my abilities was something that would help you understand what I do here, and of my importance. I'd rather you get your fathers permission before I do anything with your, or any one if your groups, Qi. As for where I got the ability for the sheilds, I would've thought you'd figure that out. I drew it from the only thing of power we have here in this village."

He would then point to the helmet which could still be seen despite the large walls.

Intelligent and honorable. She could work with that. Catching the ball, she would nod, looking over her shoulder to the helmet with a small smirk.

"I thought as much. Still, now way of knowing who else you might have copied from in the past unless I ask, right?" Or observe, but really.

F would shake his head.

"My power to store someone else Qi is strictly if I have an item I can store it in. Otherwise all I can do is absorb Qi as energy which is then converted into my Qi. I can't use the abilities I absorb without a proxy device."

So they could both absorb qi, but where M grew and lashed out, F was more like a battery getting charged.

"I can see why they'd be worried if you chose to leave. Thank you for the demonstration."

F would nod.

"Of course. I should get back to work though, your father's training has put a strain on my sheild devices. So I need to go patch them up, and some need recharging. That's why I was at the Helmet in the first place. Come, I'll walk you out."

F would then lead Eve out of the house.

"I did enjoy this time, maybe next time we can talk more about you and your family."

He would chuckle.

"Anyways. I must be off!"

With that he would wave and continue to the helmet.

"Of course." Eve was led out of the house without resistance or fuss! They both had other things to tend to. At the mention of talking about her family, she chuckled.

"Maybe so. Until next time, F." Rubbing her thumb over the surface of the qi-charged ball, she watched him head off to the helmet again, wondering if he knew what his sister could do with it.

And then heading home herself.
