Continued Search

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike was out and about still. Having told Barker about the hidden plateau base. He decided it was time to get himself out there some more. His black hair growing out leaving his hair half black and half blonde. He wore some regular clothes and a jacket, with his black ops pants and boots. He was sitting against a tree while doing some maintenance on his equipment. Once he felt it was done he threw it back on and set out again, tightening his sword belt. On his left hip sat the bane of the elements sword and on his right hip was tied the bokken handle.

His goal today was to search for a war group of some sort, bandits, raiders... Civilians it didn't really matter to him. He had General Maximus with him, the sprite born of the odd golden egg he had before.

"Whats the plan?"

Maximus asked, spike would shake his head.

"Find some escort, or back up forces I can recruit for continued black ops. Mathew can have his front line soldiers he is training at the town, but war is won on multiple fronts."

Maximus would grunt.

"Assassins."

Spike would nod.

"It's what I'm good at."

The wilds of the deadlands was his to explore. Did spike choose to take the path of wilderness, desert, or ruins.

Spike would take the wilderness. He was used to it more than the other two, but the desert would be for later. It reminded him too much of the arena back in Prota.

Through the wilderness he would go. Spotting many exotic creatures. All staying away from him, some watching...

Spike would continue forward, the creatures watching him didn't put him off at all. He felt more of a connection with them than normal people. He would simply nod for Maximus to keep an eye on their backs.

All seems normal thus far...

Spike's uneventful trip forward is uneventful. He decides to climb a tree and move along branches if possible.

It when he got to the higher branches that things seemed to get interesting. It would look like he had discovered tracks... in the trees?

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike would place his hand on a part of the branch that didn't have tracks and then the part of the branch that had tracks to test the difference in how it felt. To see if the tracks where from standing still, or moving quickly, and how old they might be by discoloration or temperature.

[Sir Galahad]

Near as he could tell they were well used, as if they were akin to a hunters path on the forest floor. These tracks were to consistently worn for him to tell when the last time anyone was around but he knew that whoever had been using this path had been using it for quite some time.

Spike would activate his Seikatsugan and look forward trying to see any Aura's in the tree path ahead.

The Auras were faint as if still some ways ahead of him.

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike would deactivate his eyes and follow the path, speaking to Maximus.

"Just make sure we don't get ambushed."

[Sir Galahad]

It wouldn't take long for Spikento make out the sounds of a camp! It would be just ahead.

Spike would attempt to go higher in the tree's before he got too close. But he would carry on.
