"Well I know the Celts need Andraste, and Macha. Egyptions need Bast, Neith, and Menhit. The Nihonjin need Marishiten. As far as Gods go anyways. For Beasts they need Banshee, Cerberus, Griffin, and Scylla. Heroes need Achilles, Beowulf, Cu Chulainn, Icarus, Izanagi, Izanami, and Susanoo."

It was an extensive list. Eve nodded when a specific name was mentioned, knowing her choice once she heard it.
"I choose Bast." Let's have a moment of irony of choosing a cat when talking to a god who took the form of a jackal.
"I'm not afraid of hardcore. I'm already in a place where the war never ended." She frowned slightly. "the only thing I'd want to know is wo I need to talk to make it official." She wasn't sure what would be needed from her to gain the right to begin with.

"For Bast, you will need to talk to Ra. I believe he is taking council with Set and my brother Silus, who took the position of Thoth while you were gone."

Sounded like she had a bit of time. Eve nodded at the instruction.
“That’s great.” She grinned at the mention of Silas taking his own title among the gods. “You and your dad must be proud.”

"We are, it was interesting when he stepped forward to take the mantle of the Thoth Library. No one really saw it coming, but Ra gave his blessing and Silus stepped up quickly and took to it naturally."

"Really?" She raised her brow at 'interesting,' but nodded when he mentioned his brother taking to it like a duck to water. "I'm glad he found it, then. Tell him hi for me if I don't see him first. I'm guessing he's been busy, too." She found herself relaxing as they chatted, reminded how much she missed this. Casual chats, a chance to catch up. A rare enough moment.

"How are the travels in the Deadlands? When Mathew made the announcement at the top of Olympus it reached us within moments. Didn't really leave a lot of time for getting over the shock of what happened."
He'd look at Eve with a serious face this time.
"I scoured the lands of the dead for you."

"He has that affect on people," she agreed with a chuckle at hte thought of her father announcing his plans after things had settled enough for them to leave. hey wouldn't have left time to let others try to argue. She shook her head, thinking back on the past few months.
"It's been...interesting. Our family's grown a bit while we were out. It's a land of time-worn ruins and war-torn people. The village we've set up at now is apparently the weakest of the territories there, but they were good enough to impress Dad when he did the assessment. Not a lot of qi users, but the few they have stand out." She paused, expression softening as he looked at her, holding his gaze.
"I missed you, too, Kedan."

Anubis would smile when she said his name.
"Don't hear your real name around here too often."
He'd kind of take a long breath getting his sea legs.
"I'd join you if I could. Hades and Hel have gone to investigate the Castle of the Conqueror that fell... There is a strange hold on the souls of people there we can't figure out completely. It could be trouble for us."

"I'll make sure you don't get too used to formality." She smiled back, eyes lighting up for a moment. "You didn't think I'd come here without a chance to stop by for more than information, right?"
The news update on the souls was concerning, and made her pause with a thoughtful frown, brows knitting together.
"That's definitely weird. You don't think it's something like soul gems, do you?"

Kaden would shrug in a more disappointing look than one might expect.
"I've not the chance to find out. Initially we suspected something at least similar to soul gems, but what ever this is, it's like we don't have permission. Even with our own worshipers."

Her own frown deepened as she reached out and gave his arm a reassuring squeeze.
"You'll figure it out. Just let us know what you find when you can." She wondered what it was that caused that sort of mess, especially since she and the others might be going up against it.

Anubis would head inside his house to get back into a professional appearance, before he stumbled over something and the sound of a can, ro solo cup or something fell and tumbled around causing Anubis to gasp very audibly.
"It's so filthy! And she's here!"
Anubis would exit wearing his nice gear slamming the door behind him as he puffed out his chest and confidently walked away from his disgusting house and towards the Egyptian lands of rule.
