The two would look at each other confused. They definitely knew this man and were shocked that one such as the General would be after him. Surely she jested. However, they did confirm that he and the high priest were there at the times in question.

"It isn't I Comrades, as I mentioned the other faction leaders and Zekumft are involved if I don't have solid witness or proof then they'll arrest this person anyway probably won't stop there if they find out others are helping to protect him for any reason." She folded her arms and stared hard at the guards. "Please answer my question."

Both men had looks of disgust. The fact that their general was so easily bending over for the other factions.
"As we said a moment ago. We can confirm that the information you were given is accurate. Ths 'accused' was no where near the location that you and the king were attacked."
They were both respectful because they had to he. But it was obvious how disappointed they were in seeing their great general brought so low as to question her own people.

Their gazes broke her heart. She was in a delicate position. They were in an alliance now and there must needs be peace. She is doing her part in this he best she can. As she must! More now than ever the people need to be protected, it is harder to see political dangers than Blades and Qi blasts trying to Pierce our doorstep.
She made a slight detour. She wentto his grave and saluted over his memorial. She needed to be alone before facing anyone. She started to break her composure and that can't happen when she is being viewed as weaker and weaker by the day.
"Why did you have to leave us so soon Raikotsu? Give me strength..." She took out a knife and cut her palm made an offering to the dirt before her. An offering to help her prayers be heard by the land.

The offering was accepted by the land. As she sat there a tree made out of blood would form out of the ground behind her casting upon her shade and providing her with privacy and shelter from the sun. As if the land itself knew her issues and wished to offer her what little comfort it could.
