Soni would fight it off with her arms as best as she could until she sent out a sonic blast emitting right between her and the creature.
"Little punk!"
Meanwhile, the bison charged right past Drake, seemingly unaffected. Drake could feel as he sliced at the beast a thickness in its dark fur that made his slice nearly vain. However, a tuft of brown hair would be on the end of his glaive, as well as on the ground from where he cut it.
The bison would slowly turn around and swipe its leg at the ground for another charge.

The bird thing would get blasted backwards however Soni would her more loud squawking from above her, if she looked up there would be a swarm if them above her! Two of them would dove at her!
Drake would spin the Glaive around throwing off the fur.
"Bring it on big guy!"

Soni would punch at the first one and send a blast at the second!
The bison would begin to charge at Drake, its horns angled downward.

The to creatures would go down! But 4 more would come! Two from either side of her!
Drake would charge at the creature but when it got close he would use his Glaive to vault up and over to be on top of the creature! If successful he would stab into it's back!

Soni looked at both her sides. "This isn't good." Soni would focus and send out two sonic blasts, one from her right side and one from her left.
Meanwhile, just as Drake landed on its back, the bison reared its head, and then its body followed in line. The only way Drake didn't go flying is by stabbing the blade into the much softer white fur. The beast's hooves would slam back on the ground, slamming Drake's body into its back if he managed to hold on to his glaive. It would then start to kick and buck in an attempt to throw Drake and/or his glaive.

Soni was successful in getting rid of those four however she would be wide open for the fifth that came from behind her grabbing at her with its clawed talons. It would dig its claws into her skin as it proceeded to lift her into the air!
Drake would be holding on to his Glaive for dear life as the beast bucked and jumped trying to launch him off of it's back. However his feshly made blade would be a bit too sharp as it's sharp blade proceeded to make a larger cut in the creatures skin loosening the blade! Drake would go flying! However he would focus as he was flying through the air and he wound reach out his hand and grab, managing to grab and hold into the beasts tail!

"Ah!" Soni would shout in pain as the claws scratched her. She felt herself lifting up and would begin to fight and struggle. "Let- go of me- you little- brat!" she would shout, in her struggle. She finally tried to elbow the bird directly in the head!
The bison roared from the pain and would begin to charge forward!

The bird would screech and drop Soni right in front of the Bison!
Drake would see Soni fall!
"Soni!"
Drake would yank on the beasts tail with all his strength and plant his feet in the ground in an attempt to prevent the beast from charging through Soni!

Soni screamed and saw the bull charging into where she was falling. Immediately she curled up and winced, hoping for a miracle. Suddenly, something formed across her skin and she felt it hit the ground hard.
The tail of the bison would rip off as the bison trampled right across Soni, kicking dust into the air.

The bird creatures would be circling above the spot Soni would have been trampled, obviously waiting for the dust to settle so they could begin feeding on the most recent kill...
"SONI!"
Drake yelled! He felt his power well up from inside of him as he channeled the soul energy from the spirit realm into for orbs that he launched at the Bison! He would then run over to check on Soni!

The dust would settle, and behind it Soni would be covered in crystal armor. Her eyes opened suddenly. "Um..." she sat up, and shards of the crystal armor would fall off, broken by the trampling. She gazed mystified at her arms, the pieces falling off of them. "That's new..." she commented, her sound heavy with delighted concern.
Meanwhile, the orbs bought the two some time as they hit the bison hard enough to daze and confuse it.

Drake and the flying creatures would be surprised to see Soni not just alive, but seemingly fine...
"Well, that's unexpected."
Drake would say as he looked at the remnants of the crystals around her.
"I thought you had sound powers. Where did these come from?"

"That's a great question. I'm not too sure," she would say as she finished the last round of wonder. "But I'll worry about it later. Let's finish this," she'd say with determination, holding up her hand as a request for aid in standing.
The bison began to breathe heavily and kick at the ground. The earth below it could be heard and felt cracking, as wind around it kicked up.

Drake would help Soni up. But she would notice that the bird creature seemed to be getting some distance away from them and the bison. As if... they knew something was about to happen that Drake and Soni didn't know about.

Soni took slow steps back. "Drake...?"
The bison let out a loud roar and launched itself from the ground, throwing rocks and dirt into the air broken from the ground. Each step it took crushed the ground a little more than before. Wind rushed out its four nostrils as it screamed toward the duo.
