One more quick adjustment (GM)

[Novocaine]

Nova would find herself back at the labs sometime before her departure for Vindicta, where she'd casually explain her idea and why she wanted it.

"I think enhancing my hearing would prove to be beneficial to me. If other people are equally as quiet as I am when they move, I want to be able to hear it and hold an advantage in terms of knowing positioning. If you can install tech on me, that's fine. But it'd be easier if I just always had it, I think. The idea is pretty simple, right? I can't imagine it would be half as difficult as other enhancements."

[Sir Galahad]

James would be sitting there tapping his medical notepad.

"Ok, sounds like a fair idea to me. Come now. Let's get you in a machine."

With that James would lead her to the pods!

Nova would smile, pleased, following to the pods and casually moving towards them. She assumes the process was the same.

She kept her clothing on this time, though.

"Can I just climb in?"

She wasn't sure if there was programming needing to be done first.

James would nod.

"Yes, go on inside."

[Novocaine]

She gets in and waits!

Same shit as last time! Fluid wires unconsciousness.

Boom. Now in a room. Only with cat ears. Her eyes are slightly more feline as well.

Nova can now has RP relevant Enhanced hearing. By stating in a post that she is using her enhanced ears she can hear far more than anyone else. She has also gain low-light vision, not quite night vision but as long as there is a little bit of light around she can see clearly inside shadows.

[Novocaine]

Nova would sit up and blink, feeling the differences but not immediately realizing what all they were.

She would rub her eyes, finding they felt a bit weird before scratching her head with a yawn.

Then pulling her hand away quickly.

"What the fuck?"

She would glance around the room for a mirror.

[Sir Galahad]

The large mirror to the side was still there to reveal her new cat ears!

"How are you feeling?"

She could hear James voice clear as day. As if he was in the room with her. The intercom must've had an upgrade since the last time they were here.

[Novocaine]

Her ears would pin back as she jumped, not expecting to hear a voice so...close? She thought she was alone in here.

Which turned out she actually was. Weird.

"A little overwhelmed." she admits, staring in shock in the mirror.

"I didn't expect...a sort of splicing situation." she'd laugh sheepishly. Even if it made sense.

[Sir Galahad]

"Gene splicing is quite common actually. Yours and Daniel's battleforms are actually the first of their kind. Most battleforms are made by splicing animal DNA, for you two though... we decided to branch out our experimentation process."

She would hear him scribbling away as if he were right next to her as well.

"Now, tell me, how well can you see right now? And how clearly can you hear my voice?"

[Novocaine]

Her ears twitch a bit and she'd try to focus more on her vision.

"Well. You sound almost like you're really close. I can even hear you writing. As for my vision...it feels really clear? Am I supposed to see better too?"

She hadn't asked for that but she'd definitely take any extra perks.

[Sir Galahad]

"Interesting."

More scribbling.

"I spliced you with feline DNA, that seemed like the best fit for what you were looking for. So, to explain how well the splicing worked. I should tell that I'm speaking at a normal level in the room next to you. And I've powered down the lights in there to 20% from the sounds of it. You didn't even notice that the lights were dimmed at all. Very interesting."

More scribbling.

[Novocaine]

"Wait, what?"

She'd look around then up as if staring into lights would help.

Spoiler alert, it didn't. It just made her see black dots for a few seconds.

"Sounds like it's working as intended then." she'd note, looking down at her hands and such to take note of any other changes. Like nails.

Or hair.

But it seemed like the only changes were around her head.

[Sir Galahad]

"Great! If you would ever like any more Enhancements please let me know, I'd be happy to see what other abilities I can splice into you..."

She could HEAR him scribble the word Tail on his note pad.

"Anyways, you are free to go whenever you wish. It may take some time to get use to the new senses so be wary."

[Novocaine]

She sighs internally at the idea of being a literal cat-girl. Tail and all. Though...perhaps the factor of added balance could be...

Agh no. You're fine.

"Thanks, doc. I'm sure loud noises are going to take some getting used to."

Luckily for her Daniel shoots the wall randomly in his sleep almost every night, so she won't have a choice but to get used to it.

Either way, she gets up and gets dressed again, being careful to not aggravate any of her new senses.

"Oh. And if we can keep this on the down-low from my partner? He's salty enough about the other things I can do. I was just going to tell him I had a sudden mutation from our last upgrade. I don't want to distract him from actual important matters."
