With the teleportation crystal back home constructed he was now ready to wage his war. He had the start of an army, now it was time to lead by example and inspire them. Not to mention show just what a God of War could do. To that purpose Mathew would make for his throne on Olympus.

There is a fair amount of war in the world. Ireland, Africa, Canada. Seemed to be in constant strife. Ireland would be the odd one out as it had been peaceful the last time he sat on the throne.

Unusual, something had happened to trigger it. But it was a fresh war. He would focus his attention on it, for now, to try and get more details on what was going on and how large the conflict is.

The conflict seemed to have been triggered by the ruling factions leader, or the governing body being injured in a recent battle. As well their military compound the singular fortress had been severely damaged. The conflict was large for the land it occupied being so few in number, but it would seem every able bodied warrior was involved in some way shape or form.

He would try to draw the strength from the defending army into himself. If they had fortifications beforehand they were likely the stronger army and would have more for him to take.

He would feel the red energy of War soak into him from the army, filling him with it's power.
(Mathew can not grow tired for the following two threads.)
(This energy also will allow him to strike with such force it literally explodes from his blows adding 1/2 his atk to his atk stat for the following two threads.)

He rolled his shoulders feeling the power wash into him. The fresh conflict likely wouldn't end anytime soon, and drawing from the defenders should keep it going longer. That would be another source to feed him while he dealt with Canada. Next, his attention would go to Africa to see how it differed from last time he had sat in the throne.

It had not drifted much. They had separated into three different nations fighting for control over it's entirety. Seeming as one grew weak or weary from the battle would set the other two against each other in a possibly endless war.

He closed his eyes as he focused deeper into it. Looking at which faction was stronger, who the leaders were, and for any prayers for battles to come.

There are three factions. The largest seems to be lead by some person who wishes to put in place a system of conquest once Africa is united. The second largest group was led by a large family that was more in the way of being crafty with political diplomacy, espionage, and assassination. Though they did tote a rather large army in their inventory of tricks, it wasn't their go to move. The third was the smallest, but the most war like, using gorilla and small battle style. Luring large armies into small conflicts where their tactics and strategies meaning nothing.
There is a few prayers coming through actually where a small unit is about to hit a supply line. The attackers are the gorilla faction and the defenders are the sneaky types who have planned on this ambush for weeks and have a trap waiting for them.

Mathew would pull more power from the current largest faction into himself. He was not interested in seeing Africa's conflict expand outside of Africa for now. They had enough of that with the Conqueror. He would also gift strength to the soldiers of the smaller faction praying before their battle.
