The City Streets

[Joy]

Joy nodded at the introduction and looked over to Pride. It was his call to make.

[Pride]

He frowned but nodded slowly. Getting up with some effort.

"Pride."

He'd follow the man, for now.

[Zack Asiv]

The two now carrying Cara would make their way quickly and efficiently to the medics, the one carrying the stretcher at her feet would answer.

"Petri Sudeki. Emergency signal was sent out and some of us were dispatched as support."

He wouldn't mention the cost to Zekunft, that was unneeded.

Soren and Shin would work on getting bones set in splints before finally getting Donovan up on a stretcher.

"I know you are wearing a helmet, but you sound confused. You may have rattled your brain a bit."

Adrian would stand and would start heading out to find the other numb nuts who was probably out here somewhere. He'd stop though.

"Are you carrying a weapon? I sense metal."

Pride and Joy would be led to an area where medical persons were gathered and on a large stand was another man with Goggles, as they arrived the one leading them would vanish and medics would rush over.

[Kaia Galanos]

"Yeah." Kaia would grunt, staring off the the side in annoyance, though he probably wouldn't see it.

"Was holding onto a knife in my back for later."

That's no way to talk to someone helping you but she can't help it. She has a lot of angry feelings all the time.

[Joy]

“Joy.” She nodded as the last introductions were done, walking alongside her brother in the stretcher as she regarded the Sudeki and their surroundings. A lot of bodies and a lot of hustle, as expected.

Petri seemed to have the right idea of getting out of the way, and though she sidestepped enough to let the medics come by, she was still in front of Pride and between them. The rush of them meant her own presence practically loomed in silent earning to take care. Staying out of the way but not away.

[Cara Dunn]

“Cara Dunn.” She glanced from one to another as she was carried, unsure of which one to address and settling on a simple decision of both.

“Thank you for the help. Does anyone know what caused the explosion? One minute we were celebrating, and the next a bunch of masked strangers appeared.” She assumed it had something to do with them, anyway.

[Pride]

"Well this isn't what I thought would happen when I heard there was a celebration going on... Still no fat ones though..."

[Donovan]

"Psssssshhhh... I'm fine guys, aside from the broken bones... honest! Unless there is internal bleeding. Then I might not be so fine, but my head is golden. This helmet works like a charm. I'd knock on it... but my arms are broken."

He would say with a smile.

[Cain Rhamos]

Cain struggles to get back up again!

Then drops to a knee.

"Okay... okay.... we'll just... take our time..."

[Zack Asiv]

Adrian would sigh and turn around. He'd start taking her towards the medics instead of searching for Cain.

"We can't remove it without doing more damage or increasing your bleeding. The medics will help you, I'll go back to looking after I drop you off."

He would take a breath.

"And even before you start! This has nothing to do with your ability to perform, or act. This is a life or death situation, there is no telling what will happen out here, this is the smart move."

Asiv himself would walk over to Pride and Joy, smoking a cigarette and generally looking annoyed with life.

"Hey... I'm Zack Asiv. Leader of Cabal. Do either of you know, or have any idea of what happened?"

Petri would shake his head at Cara's question.

"We know it originated from where the Town Hall was hosting the ball with his Excellency Strike and his Lordship Kaizer were located, but beyond that we are in the dark."

Arturio would climb to a high spot and get a view from a pile of rubble spotting a beat up blonde kid.

"Hey, you!"

Arturio would yell out towards Cain. He'd point and look down at Val.

"Spotted one."

[Pride]

He looked to Joy, draping his arm around her shoulders and placing more weight on her as they were approached by Zack. Pride just grinned at the question.

"Simple. The weaklings attacked, though it quickly became apparent there was no honor in fighting those like children. Then before we could leave the explosion happened, and the weak were destroyed while the strong survived."

[Joy]

Joy rolled her eyes at Pride's comment about missing out, looking over at the man who approached and bristled. Asiv. She remained where she was, letting her brother to lean on as needed.

"There were people in masks," she noted flatly. "Weak and telling us we needed to die." Her arms crossed across her chest. "They died, instead."

[Cara Dunn]

Cara frowned and nodded as she looked down at her hand, processing the information as best she could. Something else entirely destroyed the entire place, killed so many. She tried to know what was going on, and instead of an answer, the man with the hammer had...had...

"He meleted. Right in my hand."

[Kaia Galanos]

Kaia would open her mouth to reply, only to pout in annoyance as he cut her off to...reassure her?!

"...I was going to say FINE. I don't need to be there when you go rescue that good-for-nothing moron." she'd spit, accidentally clinging around his neck a bit hard from her agitation.

[Valerian Blackburn]

Val nods to Arturio, heading over to the young man to start picking him up, putting his arm around his neck.

"Easy does it, kiddo. We'll get you patched up."
