All of Ali's stealth was for naught when Donovan just walked into the camp like he owned the place. One of the large brutes would move over to him, shoving him back.

"Who ordered the shrimp?"

It drew the attention of the crowd and the leaders, the smaller man noticing Ali and reaching into his coat for something.

"Deal with them. No witnesses." The cloaked man hissed while the larger man stepped toward Ali, his fist beginning to glow red.

Meanwhile, the brute that shoved Donovan would send a kick for him to follow up!

"Damnit - Donnovan!" She hissed a warning to try and pull him back, but it was already too late. Now they had nothing. No stealth, no plan of attack, no information and no way to try and free those in the cage with a distraction. And she couldn't just let a kid walk in on his own, no matter how much violence he had scene.

She thought she'd have to worry about whatever the man with he cloak had hidden away, but she got the big boy instead, his fist glowing an unpleasant red.

"We'll see about that." She needed to get Donovan and get out of here; they were two against too many.

"Kek!" She'd jab the spear at the mans arm, hoping to knock it off point of whatever his target was, hair turning white as she channeled her mana.

"Donovan! Get out of here!"

Zero Ability: Manafication ("Kek") - Drawing on energy and channeling it into her weapon, Ali is able to add 100% her ENG to her attack.

[Donovan]

Donovan would take exactly two steps back when he was shoved and plant his foot leaning forward for balance. When the kick came Donovan would swing his arm up to catch the leg lifting it up. While doing so he would take a step forward and using his other arm deliver a solid blow the man's now wide open family jewels!

[Lucifer]

The man drops from the pain while his comrades laugh uproariously.

"Hey no nuts, kid. Catch!"

One of the guys would throw an injured man with the vest at Donovan and the downed bandit! He could hear a beeping as the man flew toward him!

Ali's spear pierces the man's arm which would bulge and grow in size as the red glow vanished from his hand!

With surprising strength, his other arm would backhand her!

The cloaked man drew out a small oddly shaped object from his cloak!

She couldn't keep track if he was going to keep going in. Not if she was going to keep her head in her own fight. The triple spiral halo formed over her head and Donovan's, as well as any of those she could in the cage and prisoner.

The backhand knocked her off her feet, blood trickling form her mouth as she spat it at the foot of the head of the bandits. Whatever contraption there was in the other man's hand, she only got a glimpse with the way the world spun.

Then her wing blades form and hurl themselves at the bandit leader as she staggers to her feet, spear drawn across her body to protect it.

"We're leaving. Now."

Donovan would continue to step forward though his first step would be slammed down HARD on the man he just punched in the dick. He would grab the flying man by the vest. Pulling out a knife he would attempt to cut it off as quickly as he could, and if successful he would tell the man to run as he threw the vest at the man that threw it at him!

[Lucifer]

Donovan could catch the man and cut the vest, but it would be no more than a few feet from him when it went off, exploding with incredibly powerful concussive force and heat as the shockwave and fire washed over him, blood and dirt spraying everywhere as the downed bandit and the victim who had begun to run were torn to shreds.

Only a moment before the explosion Ali's blades would tear into the bandit leader, impaling his arms and shoulders which would begin to grow and glow red while the smaller man clicked his tongue.

"No, it's not."

The air would crack as something happened from the object. It was like thunder all around them and then suddenly Ali would feel a burning in her chest as she started to bleed from a hole that was no there a moment before.

The blaze of heat rushed over her came from behind, but it was the sound of thunder that didn't shake the sky, but left her injured all the same as fire tore through her chest. Her hand went to the wound, shocked into silence as she felt the gaps between her fingers turn wet.

Swaying on her feet, she shouted as the blades turned towards the smaller man as she cursed her not following her initial instinct, breath rasping with every painful breath.

"What...?" What was it.

[Donovan]

Donovan's mind went blank as the blast cut his skin open just as quickly as it was seared shut by the ensuing heat, and re-open by more shrapnel. That's when the black mist would cover his body. He would stand back up and roar in a berserker's rage. Then he would charge the closest man and attack!

Zero Ability/First Gift: When Donovan takes damage that causes him to bleed a black mist flows around his body and his muscles become more refined and he has an increase in strength (and rage) +26 Atk

The closest bandit would shove another of the vested prisoners at Donovan who was somehow standing after all of that. That is as he bolted away, he had no intention of being in the blast.

The cloaked man held up his free hand, some gem on the palm of his glove lit up as he did so and the blades would stop a foot away from him, hitting some kind of energy field, but still trying to dig into the shield he was putting up.

"Not bad lemon tits, but I don't let brats ruin my deals."

The leader, now with giant limbs would charge Donovan who seemed to be the bigger threat now, barreling right into him and the man with the vest both with a shoulder bash!

Lemon tits?! Despite the fact that she was in a lot of pain and bleeding out, there was unmistakable rage at the insult.

"Look forward to next time, then." She tried to hurl the spear, but her arm felt too heavy as the world spun and she let out a single, "Kek!" adding her mana to the blades in an effort to break through the barrier and cut the mask or cloak so she could see something on this smarmy bastard.

"Whoever you are."

And then the world went dark as she hit the ground.

Donovan went flying, and thanks to Ali's protection the side effect of Donovan's Rage induced berserk mode was gone. Just in time for him to scream in agony before falling unconscious mid flight.

[Lucifer]

The blades fought against the energy shield and with the final infusion of her mana there were able to breakthrough. He would try to leap back to dodge the blades but they were too fast to avoid completely. The bottom half of his mask was sliced off along with a deep gash into his cheek and jaw. Cursing he would fire his weapon once more

The last thing that Donovan would hear before the darkness took him was the sound of the gunshot and the deafening explosion. There was however no pain, just the sensation of being cocooned inside of something warm and soft.

When they awoke both Donovan and Ali would find themselves hanging upside down covered and constrained in what appeared to be spider silk. Neither of them would be feeling the effects of their injuries and there was no sign of the bandits anywhere. If it wasn't for the large, now empty cage and the giant crate nearby they may have been forgiven for thinking that they were moved. Because the dead wasteland they had been in before was replaced by a field of green with a small meadow of flowers and a very tiny pond off to the side. Upon closer inspection, they themselves were hanging on a tree that was not there before.

"Oh my, you have awoken. How are you feeling?"

They would find a white haired man watching them.

Somewhere, Ali is very satisfied with that. At least, until she woke up. The redhead blinked a couple of times, trying to gain her bearings as she realized that she was hanging upside down. The tension tore through her muscles as she sucked in a silent gasp, looking around for any sign of life or her companion. Thankfully, Donavon also seemed to be in a similar situation, which meant he had to be alive.

But where were they? This place was too healthy, too green to be where they had been before. All that remained was a cage and a crate until someone spoke up. Her head turned towards the new voice, eyes narrowing as she took in whoever it might be. There didn't seem to be any malice in his voice.

It was then she realized she didn't feel any pain.

"Better than I should be, I believe." She relaxed slightly, wary of the stranger after all that had just happened, but not enough to snub him.

"Were we the only ones to survive?"

[Donovan]

Donovan would look around. Then back at the man.

"Are you with those guys from before? Fair warning. If the answer is yes, I will have to kill you."
