Gear interrupted (Event open to 2)

[Lucifer]

Cabal intelligence has been tracking a spike in bandit and raider attacks on the boarder territories.  Reports have stated the bandits have become surprisingly well armed and it is suspected that they are either dealing with Territory 1 or raiding supply caravans from Territory 1 for their weapon stocks.  A small team is dispatched to gather more intelligence on the situation and then to either proceed to handle it, or report back to Cabal.

Who is sent? 

[Donovan]

"Their face. My fist."

[Allison Kazim]

"Let's just get this overwith." Bandits seemed common enough to other places, but if it affected their safety, then it was worth a look. It beat getting stuck in an explosion.

[Lucifer]

Their intel says that one of the well-armed group of bandits has been operating in the south. There are a lot of villages in this area, generally small with a handful of people. Mostly agricultural in nature or shepherds. There are also wastelands where the soil and ground is scorched and ruined from the war, a place where the bandits likely have their home.

[Allison Kazim]

Ali took a look around the area, noting the scorch marks and small clusters of villages. Things seemed quiet for now.

"Alright," she looked at her partner. "We talk to the villagers and ask what sort of trouble they've seen in the area. No punching anyone or starting a ruckus. We don't want them to know we're here yet." Hopefully this one had a brain, but she was doubting it.

[Donovan]

He was happily making his way towards the first person he saw when she said no punching people. He let out a loud sigh.

"Ugh. Fine. How do you people even get anything done."

He would fold his arms and put. But for now he would follow Ali's lead.

[Lucifer]

Donovan doesn't punch someone!

They can see a village in the distance, and some distance from the village is a flock of sheep.

[Allison Kazim]

"Sometimes we use words." Is that sarcasm? Might be! "And sometimes, we punch people."

She would approach the flock that was out from the village. If they were lucky, they might find a shepherd there, or a caretaker of some kind.

[Donovan]

Donovan chuckled.

"Fair enough. After you."

He would say as she made her way to the flock. Donovan in tow.

[Lucifer]

The flock indeed had a Shepard, a man that was so old and aged by the sun that he was almost more wrinkles than anything else. One-armed, and clutching a crook like it was the only thing keeping him upright he'd oversee his flock as the two strangers approached.

"Lost?"

[Allison Kazim]

"I hope not." Ali would approach the old man as he spoke to them with a polite nod, not wanting to hold otu a hand if it meant he lost his balance.

"My name is Allison. My companion and I were sent to check in on the people here. I understand you've had issues with bandits lately?"

[Donovan]

"Yeah! If you know where they are just let us know and we can go kick their asses!"

Donovan would say proudly.

[Lucifer]

The old man looked them over, and then past them. His eyes glazing over as he stood their in silence for several minutes before he seemed to snap back to reality.

"How old are you kids?"

[Allison Kazim]

"Old enough, I suppose." She frowned a little as he stared off in the distance. "Twenty, if it helps. Neither of us are new to combat." She's making assumptions.

[Donovan]

Realizing he was younger than the woman he would broaden his chest and deepen his voice a little.

"Yeah, what she said!"
