Prota Orientation, again, for the first time (Nova/Daniel)

The sheild hums loudly as Daniel's bullets hit it, changing its hue to red instead of blue, however one of his bullets would reflect back at him!

Nova would successfully smash a nice little hole! And then get hit by the second ricocheted bullet!

[Gunslinger]

"Oooh- AH!"

Daniel tries to dive to the side and dodge!

[Novocaine]

She certainly hears it coming at her, but her reflexes are just a little bit too slow. She manages to turn her head in surprise before she's hit by the dark bullet, ending up thrown to the ground rather painfully.

"Augh!"

Dude. What the fuck?

Daniel gets hit in the leg! Roy chuckles as the sheild turns a shade of purple.

"I do hope you have a better plan if I were attacking in this exercise this would be going very poorly."

[Gunslinger]

"Ngh... sorry...."

Daniel grunts out, before noticing the change in the shield.

"Brace yourself."

If it changed to take on the element of what hit it last, what happens if he uses the opposing element?

Daniel fires again, this time with Light-attributed bullets!

When in Battle Form, Daniel is able to change the element type of all projectiles within a 20ft radius of himself to any other base element type. Costs 1 Qi use per post.

These special issue handguns take energy from Daniel and fire energy element projectiles that do his energy + 1/2 his energy in damage, or 150% of his energy stat in total. Cost one bullet per use.

Nova would be holding her side before further covering her body in her second tier diamond form. If he's going to keep ricocheting bullets at her, he was going to have another thing coming.

"Yeah, okay, let's not think about it first or anything." she'd complain.

Ability 1: Nova's body turns into Diamond, granting her 75% of her energy as more defense.

Ability 2: Nova's Diamond skin now grows spikes, these spikes deal 20% of her eng in Dmg to anyone that touches them, they are also able to reflect 20% of any Qi based attack back at the user that attacked her.

Bone Armor: Bones exit her body and cover her like a set of Armor, she feels a boost of speed and power from these bones giving her +10 Speed and +10 Energy. When Nova focuses she can make the bone armor eject shards of bone into the ground around her and the very next person she Mark's with Qi will be attacked by the bone shards dealing 125% of Nova's Eng in damage.

Daniel' bullets hit the sheild! The sheild would turn red again and then start flashing as if it was waning. Then Daniel would get hit in the chest by one of the ricocheted bullets!

Nova's diamond skin protected her somewhat, however, due to the light elemental nature of the bullet as soon as the bullet hit her, her entire body reflected the bullets energy in every direction as a wave of light! Daniel would get hit by the wave hard enough to knock him down.

The sheild would take the rest of the wave of energy and it would shatter! Roy smiled and clapped.

"Well done you two. Impressive combo attack at the end there to, genius idea Daniel. Knowing that Nova would use her diamond skin you deduced that you should use the light element and the fact that my sheild reflected your bullets previously to enhance your attack while not making me believe you were just targeting me foolishly! Impressive indeed!"

He would clap more in congratulations!

[Gunslinger]

Daniel lies on the ground, groaning in pain.

[Novocaine]

Nova's smacked back down, but at least this time something good came of it. The shield was no more and Daniel got hit twice.

"Yeah. Sick plan, Daniel. Real genius."

There was nothing congratulatory about her tone.

Roy smiles proudly.

"You two are really something else."

[Gunslinger]

Daniel's face flushes in embarrassment, and he slowly gets to his feet.

"...it was not my intention."

He says, after a second.

"I meant to test my theory about canceling out the field with its opposite element. I can't take credit for the accidental success."

[Novocaine]

"Well you can take credit for injuring us every single time." Nova would sigh, picking herself up as well.

"But we know of a way to deal with those shields, now."

Assuming it'd react the same way the next time as well. She wasn't sure of the damage it could handle, and if the one they were testing on was as strong as the original.

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

Roy frowned at the explanation.

"Ah, unfortunately no, this sheild does not have any elemental attunment built into it. We wanted to make this as close to the original as we could. And while, yes you two did over power it, its power was limited to the amount of power I put into it. Still an impressive feat, but you will need to get stronger if you ever hope to destroy a sheild powered by something as strong as Lord Strike."

He would look between them to let the words sink in.

"Any questions or comments?"

[Gunslinger]

"...stronger."

Daniel nods, frowning a bit.

He's too busy being embarrassed and angry at himself to have any questions.

[Novocaine]

Nova let's Daniel simmer in his anger for now, crossing her arms and cocking a hip.

"I do." Nova would respond to Roy.

"It seems like everything comes down to Daniel and I requiring more strength. Was a task or training opportunity planned already, or may I request one?"

If nothing else, more upgrades could be done, but she felt like she had the ability to achieve something like strength without the use of enhancements.
