"Nothing planned, today was merely meant as an evaluation, and assessment of your skills, while simultaneously teaching you about the enemies shielding capabilities, and-"
He would walk over the same desk as before picking up two more shield devices like the one he had just used and gave one to each of them.
"To offer you each you own personal shield as it may come in handy."
Then he would rub his chin.
"Did you have something in mind for training, or are you merely asking for me to find you something to do?"

Nova's eyes linger on the device for a brief moment before looking back at Roy.
"The latter, I suppose. If I keep doing tasks the same way I always do, I don't think I'll get the results I'm looking for. I guess I'm asking for some guidance towards something challenging and rewarding."

Upon inspection they would find that there was a literal "On/Off" switch. As for the circuitry and crystal they would need to take it apart in order to learn anything about... though, maybe they shouldn't unless they were certain they could put it back together... correctly.
Roy hmm'ed and rubbed his chin. Thinking...
"I don't have anything for you specifically for the sake of getting stronger... however, maybe you could go to Cabal. Offer your assistance in hunting down experiments that attacked the ball and the parade. While you are there you should take the opportunity to train with their troops and even do a few spars. Get some fighting experience. Then, when you have learned anything you deem worth while. Leave, and come back. By then I will have something more substantial for you."

It would be a bit strange to live somewhere so...different. People run wild over there, from what she's seen and heard. But hey, if living with some lower lifeforms for a bit was going to push her to newer heights, she'd gladly step on them to reach it.

Rewards: +3 Exp
Energy Shield: Once activated the device pulls in Qi from the user and projects a defensive dome around the person. The dome has an HP equal to the user's Eng stat. The user can spend more Qi points into it to make the shield stronger. (1 QP = Eng stat, stackable)
