He manages to grunt out.

Spike's vision gives him much the same view as before, including underneath the hill.

The bandages can help, but Spike knows that they're just making the man more comfortable, at best.

Spike takes a deep breath knowing now this wasn't just some bandits, this was far more dangerous that it had been before.

"Thanks friend, rest now and try to sleep it off. So I know what I'm walking into, what is your power?"

Spike would get up to sneak over to the hill to get to the entrance after getting an answer or not. He can't afford to keep his Seikatsugan on he would need all his energy to fight the Katashi if they or it is still here.

"R-r....ock..."

He manages to grunt out, before falling back unconscious.

Spike sees a fairly large cave opening on the other side of the hill, complete with a fire inside. Clearly, whoever is inside has no fear of being discovered. Unfortunately, however, they don't appear to be readily visible from outside the cave.

[Sage Sudeki]

~Rock? That could mean any number of things! The hill probably isn't even over a natural cave. God damnit.~

Spike is rather annoyed now, but he needs to keep his mind and eyes sharp. If they guy had Rock powers he felt entering the cave was a bad idea. Gripping the Bokken handle behind him he would call out through the entrance.

"Whoever is in there, come out here. I have questions!"

"...who says I want to answer you?"

A deep voice calls out, though despite the answer, a massive man starts walking out from the cave.

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike would hold his ground, but give room for the large man. Looking up to keep an eye contact.

"Because I'm one of the few people who will ask you instead of trying to exterminate you, Katashi."

[Thorn Wyatt]

"Hm. You must be that Sudeki."

The man snorts dismissively, shaking his head as he walks out. He steps out in a wide berth, circling around Spike.

[Sage Sudeki]

"Tch."

Spike would not give the man his back, but would not take an action yet. He would however try and see if the Katashi had seems where new body parts had stretched to be added on.

"Sure, if that's how you feel about it. What happened, guy didn't satisfy your blood lust?"

[Thorn Wyatt]

"He was weak."

The massive man smiles, still walking around Spike.

"Most Sudeki are pretty unsatisfying in general. You wouldn't happen to be different, hm?"

Spike can see what looks like the man's fingers on his left hand had been stitched on, recently.

[Sage Sudeki]

"Why would I be? I'm just a regular Sudeki."

Spike still wouldn't give the Katashi his back, turning around with him. If he was stitching in such a brutal way he wasn't one of the reformed. He also wasn't a runt so he likely had that blood lust, though Spike would be lying if his own blood didn't boil with the challenge of facing off against this guy.

"You gonna vulture me all day or is 'he was weak?' the whole story. 'Cause if that is it, this is going to go downhill fast."

[Thorn Wyatt]

"....downhill for who?"

The man stops, leaving Spike between him and the cave.

"I'll tell you what. You tear out your own eyes and give them to me, and I'll let you live."

[Sage Sudeki]

"Sorry, I need those. Guess you are going to have to kill me."

Spike says as he moves to keep himself away from the mouth of the cave. No bueno.

"Your choice."

He snaps his fingers, and rocks lift from the ground, shooting towards Spike from both sides!

Spike would unleash black energy jets from his back which would fire him upwards to try and dodge the spikes, before they would burst him straight for the Katashi. The jets having ripped through his top leaving tattered fabric in his wake as he attempted a fly by punting kick for the large man's face!

Not nearly expecting such aerial maneuvers possible, the Katashi is taken off guard! The kick lands straight and true, causing him to stumble backwards slightly and creating an opening!
