Fuck! I'm losing my mind! 'S your goddamn fault in the first place. Had to be Mr. Hero didn't you? Now where's it gotten you? Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck! It was a continuous pulse that was driving Aureus mad. Every nerve in his body was screaming in pain, and it was all he could do to stop himself from shouting and destroying everything around him. It had all built up towards this, ever since his escape from the asylum. With Asiv gone, there was no one to supply him with that oh so crucial river of Brimstone Delta. Whatever changes it had made to his body were all hitting him at once without the drug to numb him. That wasn't the only thing bugging the teen either.
No, there was another problem, but this one was far more subtle. Sure, things looked fine between him and Chi on the outside, but sometimes he got an unnerving feeling something was missing. Was she telling him everything? No, she's definitely hiding something. And ya see, the problems never end. What did I tell you? ... So what was it? It could be something about Karel, or some other person, but at the same time he thought it was something between them, like she was sort of drifting away. Did she still feel the way he did, the way she said she did? None of it made sense as he went over it in his head.
It's your fault. You're so fucking clingy. You have to depend on yourself more. It just makes life easier. Like you used to be. She's caused nothing but trouble. That's not true and you know it. Do I?
And so Aureus kept pacing back and forth, back and forth, smashing his gloved fists into trees as he went by. It was all becoming too much. The pain, Chihiro, Asiv, the government wanting to lock him away. There was no one around, he was alone in the forest, so why hold it in? He was going to kill himself if he didn't let everything out. All it took was a few fiery punches to a tree, which set off a pile of dry leaves and brush. The forest was on fire, and he didn't care.

"No, Ezra! I'll go home later!!"
["Jenesis, if you're not home in five minutes you are so dead, you hear me--"]
*CLICK*
Jenesis had hung up on her sister and continued to wander around in the forest. She swung her arms back and forth in a rather cheerful manner, hopping around and twirling and such as if nothing really mattered in the world anymore. Her little wings blew with the slight wind, which Jenesis would think would be cool, but instead it was rather...hot. Being oblivious to the fact that the red sparks flashing was fire, she went toward the pretty red lights instead of away from them. Well, that proved to be a bad idea.
"...wow, the red things are hot...wonder if I can pick one up...."
Of course, Jenesis living quite a sheltered life didn't know too much about things normal people would know. Like Halloween. Her parents had kept everything that could possibly harm or damage her "pure" soul until just recently, where they let their only biological daughter out into the world...as a science experiment, to see how people would react to her, and in turn, how she would react to them.
"ow!!!"
She had burned her hand in the attempt of trying to "catch fire"...but that did not deter her from attempting to "catch one". She was very much determined to get one on her palm.
Very determined.
So of course, when she saw flames abyss in the forest in front of her, she laughed like a kid and ran towards it.
What an idiot...

Letting a loud roar, the Pillar continued to beat his fists into a nearby oak tree. It seemed like no matter how he tried to fix the things in his life, the fixes only caused more problems. It wasn't that his life was always hard or something, but just that it was so hard to keep it together all the time.
Eventually Aureus tired himself out and fell back onto the ground. Looking around at the flames surrounding him, the teen could only smile. Destruction had it's own unique charm. It felt good to completely break out like that, but it left him feeling a bit empty. Hmm, maybe I should get outta here. He thought, pushing himself up. It was around that time that he noticed there was someone else around.
A girl? What was she doing there? He hadn't even heard her coming, probably because of the fire. "Hey! Hey! What're you doing?!" He shouted, watching her seemingly try to catch the flames.

GOTCHA----
"OW! OW! The red thing hurt me!!!!"
Hand was red, and tears were brimming her eyes. You could tell that the "kid" had a low tolerance for pain. As if she learned her lesson, she backed away from the red lights, slightly angry about the fact that the fire had hurt her. She had noticed it was hot, but she figured it was the sun. It was summer after all, neh?
"Hey! Hey! What're you doing?!"
Turning around toward the voice, she gave a confused expression.
Was he trying to catch the red lights too?
"...the red lights can hurt you!!!"
....
...right.... As the narrator of this character, I believe I have the right to say that it is just...just a little embarrassing.

Great, she had burnt herself. Hopefully it wasn't too bad, and would teach her not to put her hands right in it. Fire was a living thing, almost, and had to be handled with care. A lot of things weren't that harmful, it was just how man implemented them that made them dangerous.
Aureus was beginning to feel pangs of regret. He hadn't meant to hurt anyone, kinda, especially children. Thankfully there weren't many buildings close by and the forest was relatively small. But for now he had to take care of the girl. "Yeah, I know," he said, taking a few steps towards her. Upon further examination, something hit him.
"Whoa...it's you. The faerie girl, Jenesis, right?" He asked, pausing for her answer.

"Whoa...it's you. The faerie girl, Jenesis, right?"
Now, now...Jenesis didn't really like being called a "faerie girl", seeing as she had a name and all that jazz. How would he like it if she called him pillar boy? But he remembered her name, and she remembered his, so...yeah. With a grin on her face, she waved.
"Mister Hayes Aureus!"
...okay, she almost got his name right..almost.
"Were you trying to catch the red lights too??"

"Err, it's the other way around, Aureus Hayes. Anyways, they're not lights, it's fire. Haven't you ever..." The boy asked, stopping mid sentence. It probably wouldn't be too far a stretch to think she had never heard of fire, she was pretty weird alright.
"Nevermind, but right now we need to get outta here. Hmm, gimme a sec," Aureus said, turning to the fire and raising his hands. He had some degree of control over the fire he started, so he should be able to make it small. Without thinking he stuck he hands into the flames leaping off a nearby tree and concentrated. After a few seconds, half the of the fire had disappeared. It was the best he could do. Turning back to Jenesis, he began walking off. "Lets go."

Oh. Right. Aureus Hayes...
She'd have to remember that!
"Fire?"
Fire was such a pretty name. The red lights sure had a pretty, pretty name...
"...why do we have to get out? It's nice and warm.."
With a huge toothy grin, she hopped about while Mr. Aureus Hayes was toying with the fire, so he wouldn't have heard a reply to his, 'let's go', seeing as Jenesis was skipping in deeper and deeper into the small forest. Why? Because she saw a bunny.
"Come back!!! Come back, I only want to play with you!"

It didn't take long for the Junior to realize that the faerie girl wasn't following him as instructed. Spinning around, he saw her skipping deeper into the forest chasing some animal. "Hey! Jenesis, come back!" Aureus called, running after her. Another great mess you've gotten yourself into, eh?
By this time the teen had completely forgotten all that was angering him. His only concern was for the girl, and making sure she didn't become crispy fried.

OOC: Rushed
"You! HOPPING THING!!! I only want to PLAY with you!"
Though, as soon as Mister Aureus said to stop, she did, and turned around. Confused look on her face, one of the flames seemed to have grown bigger, and burned her arm, causing her to jump away from it and run back toward Mister Aureus.
"I don't think the fire likes me..."

"Well at least someone listens to me..." Aureus muttered under his breath as Jenesis ran back towards him. "It's fire, it's not alive. It can't like or dislike you, but that's not important. Right now we need to get out of here before you get hurt, or other people show up. This way. The boy said, walking back the way he had before.

Orders, orders..
She followed silently, as she was used to being told what to do, when to do them, how to do them.. Usually she willingly obeyed. She followed orders from her sisters all the time; unless it was somethin' about going home early or somethin'. Then she would "rebell", as some people would call it.
So silently, she said goodbye to Fire, despite the fact that he said that they're not alive.
