New to town (Acoma/Open)

Xapham just got to Cabal, he was here because he was commissioned by a man here to make some items, apparently the only reason he got asked was because his father had put in a good word to this would be customer and thus he was summoned. Sigh... He hated being away from his love. But such was the need to make a living. Now he just needed to find the son of bitch...

Acoma arriving in Cabal had one singular thought.... messy. While leaving the kingdom had initially been a grand adventure, looking back it may have been the worse decision of his life. Every step he took was one further away from the order and cleanliness within his control. Here... seemed like madness. But having a job to do, he got to it.

Seeing another individual scanning the faces of those around, and knowing that misery loves company, he approached hoping that at least one of them had seen someone they were looking for.

"Hello sir, I was wondering if you'd happen to have seen a young man about yea high... and with what I could only consider a serious attitude problem when it comes to cleaning personal rooms"

[Xapham]

Xapham would look at the man who walked up and raised an eyebrow. He would pull out a smoke and light it, taking a long drag before speaking.

"Guy, I just got here to town myself. First time being here, and you're the first person I've seen. So, sorry to be frank with you. But I ain't got a clue about who you are searching for."

"Well that is frustrating. I was hoping to make this quick..."

Acoma takes the awkward pause he created in the conversation to more fully review the individual before him... dirty... but something to work with.

"Would you be up for combining efforts?" under his breath muttering 'maybe a couple baths and you'd be presentable.' "Yes, I think this would be best, I mean, from my understanding of the local etiquette, it is most appropriate to help well dressed persons... Now what is a general description of whom you are looking for?" Acoma raises an eyebrow (above eye area... there is no hair) when asking this last question.

[Xapham]

Xapham would just stare at the, man... hell who was he to judge, after all he grew up around all manner of people when living at the church... and took another long drag of his cigarette. Blowing it towards the stranger.

"Now, sir, I said I was new here, not that I was a fool. I do not care for you trying to take advantage of me. I'm here on business and I'm looking for a client. And, as I do not know you, I do not know if you are a business rival."

He took another puff.

"While the way you dress certainly suggest you aren't I am still not entirely sure why you would want to help me, nor why I should help you."

With that he would stare at the man before him, waiting expectantly.

"I've been taught the first thing to do when entering a new land is to build a network of individuals to help accomplish the tasks required by exchanging favors or forming agreements. Because the task I have to complete requires that of information and covering ground is much quicker with two... And from your countenance I could determine that you too were searching for something. Such, I made the suggestion that why might be able to help one another. As for taking advantage of you, well I never!" Acoma then straightens his jacket and picks an invisible piece of lift of his sleeve.

"I, believing that you seem capable enough, have offered my own services, which are held in extremely high regard, for such assistance in finding the individual I'm searching for." Acoma slow brings his white gloved hands together, when he separates them a golden ashtray lays upon them, which he offers to Xaphan. "Now, my name is Acoma. What might you offer to such a partnership?"

[Xapham]

Xapham would let out a gruff chuckle as he ashed his cigarette in the golden ashtray.

"Well, alright then. I guess I've got some time to kill. I can offer you a bird's eye view... well, nearly. I can't fly, but I can jump great heights and even glide a little."

He would take one more hit off his cigarette before putting it out in the ashtray.

"The choice is yours. If you think I can be of some assistance, then I will need a better description of the individual you're looking for."

He would then fold his arms and await a response.

"Well the young master is about 5"11, red hair... shouldn't have arrived too long ago. Often leaves things around like whips and swords... not the best at cleaning or understanding the proper methods of folding laundry. Doesn't follow house rules, often calling them 'arbitrary' and 'made up'."

Acoma beings to look around and about stating, "He always is getting into trouble. So it would be best if there is anything that might be considered dangerous we check there first."

"But enough about my search, what or whom are you looking for?"

[Xapham]

Xapham jotted down the descriptors in his memory. Then he would turn to face the man.

"I'm looking for a merchant, I've not met the man personally, he is an acquaintance of my father, I think. Either way father sent me word that this merchant friend of his wants to meet with me. He owns a shop here in Cabal. I will find him shortly. I'll help you look for your friend. And should there be need of it I will let you know if I need any help after."

Xapham would then look up at the sky. It was a nice day for gliding.

"Oh, by the way. What is your name in case I should find him?"

"Acoma Dragoon, and I'm sorry that you had me at such an advantage. I must apologize for my gruffness as I haven't asked your name. May I ask what you go by, kind sir?" Acoma looks apologetically at Xapham, clearly upset at how uncouth he had been with him.

He then begins to ramble and mutter abit, dressing himself down for his actions.

[Xapham]

"Xapham Skred. And don't beat yourself up too much. Normally I don't care for name sharing. I only did so this time in case I should be lucky enough to find your companion."

Xapham would stretch.

"Alright, anything else you would like to know or want to say before we begin our search?"

[skuldar]

"Not that I can think of... Did you notice a good spot to start on your way in? I was thinking of conducting a search by speaking to the first person who seemed official... Or least hostile and asking if they knew. Having succeeded in that task, I would then... I don't know... This is the first time I've been asked to find someone..." Acoma rambles amibibly.

"We could find others and create search teams to comb the area, or perhaps create a large banner and drape it across a really high area..." Acoma would ponder and suggest.

[Xapham]

Xapham nodded.

"Seeking out help from an official here would be a good idea. I have my own leads to pursue. I will inform you if I find your friend."

With that Xapham would unleash his Qi a dull grey halo appearing over his head as two large black wings erupted from his back. Acoma would feel as though the whole world got a little colder. But it wasn't the temperature that changed. Xapham's wings would both lift up and then with a swift powerful motion they would flap downward unleashing a mighty wind, this would send Xapham shooting upwards into the sky! Was he had reached the peak height of his jump the wings would open up and he would begin gliding, searching from above for the guy that Acoma was searching for.

All will Suffer: Xapham is adorned with a dull grey halo and large black wings. His eyes begin to shine and a dark aura emanates from him in a 20 ft radius. Enemies trapped in this malaise are hit with the full weight of Xapham's feeling of loss and despair. -26 Def (To a minimum of 5)
